The tomato soup is always fabulous! We had the “happy mistake” salad and it was so good! The Chicken Salad is fabulous too!

Very neat place. Not only can you get made to order food (during lunch hours), but they also have a coffee and tea bar. While you're waiting for your food, there is plenty to look at and taste. They have unique gift items, a flavored balsamic vinegar, and an olive oil wall. You can try different types of flavored oils and vinegars, and they are available for purchase. I picked up a bottle of the blackberry and ginger vinegar; I can't wait to try it! I ordered the strawberry salad and it was very good!

LOVE this place! The food is so clean and healthy.. I never feel weighed down after eating here. Its hard to make a food recommendation because I cant say I've tried something yet I didnt like... but my favorite is probably the tomato soup. Honestly I've always hated tomato soup but I eat theirs often! Plenty of beautiful salads on the menu too :) Not your average! I recommend the farmers. Btw, be sure you ask about their daily special before you order (or find it on FB). FYI the store is open til 6 pm BUT the kitchen closes at 2 daily! They run out of menu items consistently. You CAN however ask for your meal by 2 pm and they'll keep it waiting til you're ready to come pick it up! How awesome is that? I hope it gives a sense of how lovely the owners are because they really are good people. They care about their customers a great deal and often express their appreciation. This isnt just a restaurant its also kind of a mini grocery store! They have fresh eggs and milk plus about a 50 different top of the line olive oils and balsamics! Lots of other goodies from local or other small, responsible businesses. Stop in and check it out! I dont buy my oil from anywhere else because the difference in taste is very noticeable. They also have a very good autumn spice latte. Cordells, Id really love it if yall brought back weekend brunches and the weekly soup specials. The menu is a bit lacking on hot options.

They have dozens of flavors of olive oils, Balsamic, and vinegars. For what they are the prices are surprisingly very low for very high quality. I use the traditional Balsamic on nearly everything I cook. I wish I would have found this place years ago

While yes the store is local….. they stock a TON of products you can source in Abilene. For example, the “local” honey? Was from Vermont…. The chocolates? Not from the chocolate manufacturer who currently occupies the historical train station downtown. Was pretty disappointed when they advertise to shop local, but their products aren’t……

Great selection of flavored olive oils and vinegars. Lots of harder to find spices and spice blends. I recommend the harissa oil. it's spicy and goes well with anything.

First visit, bought a 0.75 lb bag of coffee and a 3.4 oz bag of chocolate. Total came to $30. Apart from the deli, there are no prices lists, books, or stickers for most products. Owner offered a loyalty punch card for future visits, but it did not make it to the shopping bag. Generally friendly staff, but none of the five present wore a face mask.

Ate here for the first time today and it definitely won’t be my last. It was Thai Tuesday so I enjoyed Jason’s Tom Kha Kai. It was absolutely amazing. I also enjoyed sampling all the oils and vinegars. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Joy was very kind and extremely knowledgeable.

Great experience. Food is delicious and so healthy. They had my food out in 4 minutes and I got to sample their items while I was in the store. They use locally grown vegetables in their salads and support the local farmers.

This was my first visit here. I went for lunch not knowing what to expect but I heard it was good. They did not disappoint. The store and restaurant are kept very nice and clean. The staff was really helpful as well. I had a pear chicken salad that was topped with oils that Cordell's sells. It was delicious! I also tasted the chicken salad sandwich that my friend had as well. It was also fantastic. We then stepped over to their store, which is in the same building, and purchased some of the oils that we had just eaten in our lunches. The owner, Joy, came out to check on us while we ate and then later waited on us while we chose the oils we wanted to purchase. We had a great experience and we will be back!
