Higher grounds needs a bigger store with more than 1 Berhesta. They are too busy to get orders right. I order the same thing atleast 3-4 times a week. The order is right most of the time. But if I go when they are busy, it will be wrong. I work hard for y money I want my order right.
Yum! We are from the northwest (coffee central) and this is some of the best cold brew (raspberry dark chocolate) I have had traveling the USA. It’s very smooth but not at all bitter like so many cold brews can be. Will definitely be back for more!

Wasn't what it should be, asked if I wanted sugar free whip, said yes, didn't get it.
Cute looks place. Not so great service. The muffins looks great on display but the 2 we had were horrible. What a disappointing spot. Guess we should have gone 5 more minutes for the 5 star in town.

The coffee drinks were just OK and about standard. The service was kind of slow, so there was a bit of a wait for our order.
Higher Ground lost my business the day they charged me $2.00 for NO ICE in my drink. I was told they had to charge me for no ice because it used more of their product! I already pay for Oat milk instead of regular (which they usually mess up, I’m lactose intolerant so I know when it’s not right), along with an extra shot, I can understand the extra charge for those but no ice?? Ridiculous, this is unheard of at any other coffee shop. Starbucks, Coffee Bean, etc. On top of that, their “larges” are really “smalls” but you still pay the price of a large. Customer service usually isn’t great what so ever, they never know your order, will give you the wrong order, you tell them it isn’t right, & they catch an attitude like it’s your fault, & have another person help you to start all over again. This place could be so much better since they’re the only coffee shop within miles… Hopefully something better will open up.

Worst place ever. Ordered two drinks and a muffin warmed, no price given at the speaker, then I get to the window and they asked me again what I ordered, I told them and they over charged me, it was only $2.50 for the drinks each but they were charging me $4.50 each, whatever I paid, get my muffin it’s cold, not even warmed after telling them 3 times, then the drinks were wrong. Took 4 people at the window to understand what’s wrong, finally I told them to just forget it, and I asked for a refund. The staff had no idea what their drinks were nor their prices.
Loved it! Great coffee.
My partner said her coffee was delicious while I had an excellent London Fog. The tea appeared to be loose then placed into a sachet for my cup, not pre bagged. Overall, a very tasty drink with just the right amount of bergamot to my liking. We'll visit again the next time we're in the area.

We haven’t been through Union City since probably 2014 but I still keep Higher Ground starred on my google maps. That’s how good it is. If you’re ever in Union City, TN this is the place to be for amazing coffee and great service.
