We all loved the cinnamon rolls--lots of cinnamon and slightly under-baked in the middle.

Came for lunch, split a steak wrap and cheese curds with my son. For the price, it's a little small..but it was delicious and we were both full. My husband probably wouldn't be happy with the portions. The waitress was sweet and the place was clean

@J. Bailey This is a great restaurant it’s not a bright idea to rate a restaurant 3 stars because of the condition of the bathroom what would you rate your local Walmart? Maybe you can work for them to maintain their restrooms!

It's probably the best place to eat in all of Sweetwater. Food was delicious and quickly devoured by our group. Our server was very nice. Only knock was wicked slow on the food.

A nice venue but not so much a bakery anymore. When we had lunch at 2pm one day there was only one tray of pastries in a display case so I think they may only be a Cafe now. We also waited 40 min for food when only five tables where occupied and a hamburger should not take that long.

This place is becoming the iconic Sweetwater eatery. It represents the historic downtown perfectly. Great food, great staff and great ambience.

Good food but a 30 minute wait. Need to have faster service.

Just finished lunch here. Was really looking forward to trying this place, but was left very disappointed. We arrived at 2pm. Had a wait for a table, no biggie. We were seated and had to wait about another 10 mins to give our drink order. We went ahead and ordered our food at the same time. Our server, to his credit, was very attentive. After our order was put in, we did not receive our food until 3pm. This is with the cafe emptying and people coming in after us and getting their food. There was zero communication as to why it was taking so long. Then, upon receiving our order, the food was average. A chicken sandwich was ordered Cajun and had zero spice. As I’m writing this, I watched a party our same size come in, and they have already gotten their food. Not to mention the fact it was not mentioned that none of the entrees come with sides, so that was extra. I made sure to look at the menu and it is not noted there either. Unfortunately I will not be back.

Hello. Well my wife and I went to this place on a Saturday afternoon. They close at four so it was around two thirty, three. There was only one couple there who left soon after we arrived. The staff was very friendly and helpful. After we ordered I had a look around. The motif fits the name, hunting. The pictures and display items are geared to the more genteel type of hunting. It's a nice atmosphere and there is little traffic noise. My major hang up was the restrooms, (see photos). There are two of them side by side. They are both unisex. As you can see in the pictures they were in a horrible condition. I don't know how busy they were through the day, forgot to ask. However being busy is no excuse for letting them get so bad. They were cleaned and restocked before we left. Also the restrooms are up two steps. If one forgets about the steps when coming out, well... The food was good, no complaints there. Although I gave three stars I recommend the place. I know we will be back. Thanks for reading and I'll see you next time, bye!

The restaurant was pretty and the service was wonderful! However, the food was only okay. The Caesar salad was overpriced for the size, and the fried chicken tenders were obviously frozen ones. Additionally, I know that it was a historic building, but the bathrooms were so small and were barely accessible for most persons much less a person who uses a wheelchair. This was disappointing to see. This should be clearly made aware to customers at the front of the restaurant.

We visited Sweetwater for the first time. We were looking for a small treat to eat in the car in the way home. We entered Hunters Cafe randomly and were immediately greeted by a very professional young lady. She recommended her favorite treats, and we both chose their enormous chocolate chip cookie. The young lady wore a glove, and used a paper to grab the cookie. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and friendliness of the place. The cookie was amazing! We are now talking about going back there so we can try a meal. We would definitely recommend them!

Great food at affordable prices. I got a Greek salad with grilled salmon that was delicious. Salmon was a good portion, I wasn't left feeling hungry. Sweet potato fries tasted fresh and were cooked to perfection. Also got a pineapple upside down cake to go, from the bite I took it's moist and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and my cup never went empty as my server was on top of it. With everything I ordered my bill was still under $30. I'd say this is a must stop if your in Sweetwater.

Nice atmosphere. Fantastically beautiful displays of homemade desserts along with clean crisp entrees. Yet, no one was working as hard as the owner or as pleasant.
