Lunch is like a friend you really want to like but as you get to know them- you realize it’s not going to happen. Atmosphere is A plus. Menu was great- but execution was lacking. Overall food was just meh. And super pricey. Go for coffee and a pastry.

I am so excited to be the first five-star review! Holy mackerel, this place is a GIFT to Sewanee. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, and the food was the best I’ve had on the Mountain, hands-down. The grits and greens were TO-DIE-FOR, the aroma of fresh soup was intoxicating, and DO NOT FORGET to grab a dessert! The sourdough brownie and the fig and ricotta pastry were both excellent. I’ve found my new go-to meal place in the Village, and you should too!
