Great family restaurant with friendly staff and great food
The food was excellent! The service was friendly! Be prepared to wait during peak times. Worth the wait!
5-22-23 Small diner, country atmosphere, many locals. You know you are in a good place when locals flock to it. Wife and I both had the plate special (1 meat, 3 veggies + bread) for 8.99. She had chicken & dumplings, carrots, peas, and okra with cornbread. I got spicy pork chop, peas, carrots, mashed potatoes w/gravy and hush puppies. Pork chop was tender and had a good flavor, but not what I would call spicy. Wife said chicken & dumplings were excellent. Peas & carrots tasted like they came from a can, but that isnt always a bad thing. Wife said okra was good and so were the potatoes. The cornbread was dry, and the hush puppies didnt have much taste at all. Staff was friendly and so were the people inside, as some were asked to share their table because it was so busy.
Food is delicious but they need a bigger building and more help. Worth the wait tho.
I don't normally give reviews. However I have to say I enjoyed the veggie omelet. It truly was 1 of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend. I plan on going every time I'm in Paris.
Good baked beans and cornbread, potato salad not good at all.
Prices were very reasonable. Burgers were around 5 to $6. They offer what amounts to catering level quantities for those who need that. It's a nice touch.
Friendly wait staff, excellent food! We will certainly add this little place to our restaurant rotation!!!

Perfect hole in the wall restaurant. Try their catfish, you won't be disappointed. It was crowded though and the building is definitely older. A lot of locals eat here so be prepared to be stared at if you aren't from round these parts!
Good food good service older building .Some hidden charges on extra sour cream ,dressing Ect also 3 percent charge on debit cards Food. Is Good.

So glad we found this little hidden gem. Both food and customer service was amazing. Will definitely be our go to spot while here on the weekends this summer.

Good fish and the best hush puppies I've had in a restaurant. The cheese burgers were hand patted and delicious.
