Some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. Hidden gem of a place and the workers are always friendly
Sump is literally my absolute favourite coffee /shop in the country, and has always been my first stop when we roll/fly into St Louis - I'm completely over- the-moon excited to find a Sump in Nashville now too!! The quality of the beans/roasts is beyond compare, and there's always a superunique selection of seasonal espresso drinks. Since I was about to get a 14 hour drive home to Texas rolling when I stopped in, I went big and got *both* the espresso tonic Hive Mind, with Fever Tree, hot honey & lemon, and also the Earth Angel - a hot espresso with basil mint syrup. YUM!! Each was sooo delish!
Lucky to have this shop in Nashville. Just two locations in the country and it’s world class. On par or better than Ritual, Blue Bottle and others. Pour overs are the best you will find and really all coffee drinks. Vibe is awesome. Monthly bean subscription is great if you want to take it home.
Stopped in one morning on our trip and everything was great! The baristas were so sweet and helpful. My boyfriend who doesn’t typically like lattes and think most coffee tastes the same even said this one stood out. The ambience was great and there are a couple shops in the area to check out when you’re done. A great view of the skyline too!
Fantastic coffee. If you're into home brewing, I find the beans here to be in the upper echelon of coffees I've had. Best in Nashville IMO
First time coming here to try their coffee - I've heard rave reviews. Vibes were great, it's a little hidden. It was empty on a Friday morning which was nice but also a little odd. I ordered the vanilla bean latte with almond milk. $7 for a latte is a bit steep especially since the size of the cup is rather small and the latte was nothing to write home about. On my receipt it shows a $1 upcharge for almond milk but the total charge doesn't reflect that.
I had a wonderful experience! The ambience is so nice and cozy, it wasn’t too crowded at all and felt low key. The baristas are so kind and helpful, providing thoughtful advice when I was torn between two drink choices. I ended up getting the hibiscus tea per their recommendation and was so happy, I still think about how amazing the tea is! I will be back soon for more. 10/10 recommend stomp coffee.
Pour over coffee is my new favorite coffee, I have Mexico, but such an arrange of flavors. This place is more about the taste of the coffee and not the art of the foam (but they do make a great froth and decorate if you want that).
Fantastic place, great coffee and service.
Super cute cafe but the coffee was a little off
They know coffee. If you enjoy pour overs this is the place for you. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. You are gonna fork over a decent amount for the coffee but worth it in my opinion. I can’t speak to the lattes but I assume they nail it on that front as well.
Low key , best coffee shop in town. It’s off the beaten path but a great spot to grab a coffee, walk in the small park or just relax after a long partying night.
10 oz max on hot drinks. Coffee was ok.
i looooove this place!! coffee is incredible, presentation is beautiful, the space is welcoming, clean, airy, comfortable. just a great spot! i recommend walking over the water fountain on your way in :)
This place rules, metal AF. Coffee is fantastic, the staff rules, vibes to die for. 13/10 recommend.
First of all, this place is demonic. There are demonic images everywhere and I didn’t realize it til after I ordered. Second of all it was $7 for a tiny cup of coffee the equivalent of a tablespoon. Who would guess Starbucks would give me more coffee for the same price. I will never be back. I had to ask God to forgive me for giving any money to them.
Four stars for the quality of the coffee shop environment! This the savory butternut squash galette is pretty tasty too!
Stopped by here for a quick espresso drink and it did not disappoint! The cappucino was great, no acidity to it. Bright interior with outdoor seating as well. Garage parking available.
The best vibes here. The staff is so friendly and always make me feel welcome! I applaud the metal straws and cool, quirky cups (yay for the environment!). Additionally, the matcha is a favorite of mine and it is lovely when paired with the house-made lavender syrup.
Delightful coffee, the syrups are store made and aren't too sweet, which is my preference. The espresso was perfect, not bitter and not sour, the milk was airy and fluffy. The music was really interesting, never knew what was coming next but not in a bad way! I only wish there was more plugs.
