Really tasty smooth regular coffee.
Eclectic coffee shop and board game spot.
Good coffee! Lots of games
Drinks too expensive. Gentrified coffee. Board games nice.
I took a friend of mine to grab a coffee there and catch up with each other. It was my first time there, but she had been there quite a few times. The men's bathroom, as the video shows, is worth the price of admission 🤣. Plenty of colors 😁. I love all the board games and the laid back environment. We will definitely be stopping by again in the near future 🙏
Never had a bad experience here till today. Brought my 18 month old to get lunch today and apparently the fenced in area is too far for them to bring you food. Guess she was too lazy to walk an extra 30ft. Even when I walked in carrying my child she still refused to help walk the plates out to our picnic table. Will not be returning
Creative caffeinated drinks, board games, and sweets! My SO and our friends love this cafe and can spend hours there playing different games. I have also enjoyed every drink I've ever ordered.
Coffee and Games. Really traditional Coffee House! Casual place to talk, check it out. Didn't try the lunch menu.
I love this coffee shop. It's in my favorite area of Nashville -- 5 Points. Great walking area with bars and restaurants and shops, especially during the warmer months. The staff is awesome, helpful and nice. I always get a dirty chai and the garden veg bagel (literally amazing I've tried to make it at home and it's just not as good). But what makes this place even more amazing is all the GAMES! It's such a great spot to come on a date or with the kids. I've brought my son in often over the years, he gets his hot chocolate or apple cider and a doughnut or pastry, and we play board games. It's an awesome place to try out a few new games. They can be expensive to purchase, so I love finding a new game here and testing it out. They also have a nice selection for sale. I've also been on dates here -- they have a nice selection of local beers and wine and some great menu selections. They also host game nights, so it's an all-around awesome local community feel. Much love to the people at Bongo East/Game Point!
Sad to say I had a bad encounter there this morning. I orded four shots of expresso over ice and got a 4 shot americano. This sometimes happens but the issue came when I asked it to be fixed I was told I ordered an americano and clearly that was what was on the ticket but it was not what I ordered. The First response from the barrista was to poor out 1/2 the drink. But that is not going to make it 4 shots over ice. So after 5 minutes of being told I was wrong the barrista decided she could remake the drink in a "your a problem tone" but I would have to wait to the end of the queue... 10-15 minutes. I had already invested 20 min in this drink so I left and went to Hearts where they managed to make the drink in 5 min correctly. I did not appreciate the attitude Bongo! I suspect over the last 10 years we have purchased this drink from you around 1000 times.
Great place to drink a nice cup of coffee, they have great variety, and food they have is delicious, I wish they have even more options in the menu, what they have is good! But when you become a regular, you start wanting to try new things 😊. They do that to their coffee menu, is seasonal. But fir the food would be good to have the same seasonal extras. Great place and service is always good, as everything in East nashville the parking is the only problem, there is a couple of pay parking lots close or walk a couple streets for free park on the street.
Ordered a sandwhich and burrito and the food quality was less than poor. The sandwhich had one very thin slice of Turkey, 2 spinach leaves, no Mayo or mustard and the bread was soggy and never toasted. The burrito was cold and not fully cooked. Terrible food quality and no one there to answer a phone to try to make it right before posting this review.
My first time in, while playing thru Nashville. Great meeting place to catch up on work with the free wifi, while shopping on a mocha anything.
The food was good and our server was fantastic. The atmosphere promoted our group discussions and we had a great time.
I visited Nashville for a conference and this was on my list to visit if I had time. I ended up visiting early on in my trip and came back multiple times before leaving because I enjoyed the experience so much. This is a great place to visit if you appreciate board games. We tried out 2 new games that I probably would not have heard of otherwise. The environment was much more welcoming than other places in Nashville I visited and I will definitely visit again if I return.
Nice, cozy coffee shop. Great for a quick stop.
It's a great place to catch up with friends while playing board games
They have all the games! And coffee and snacks. Even gluten free options. They've got cool game tables and plenty of room to play.
Excellent place to get a coffee, a meal and play a game or two.
Extremely rude staff. Talk down and condensing staff. Unfortunate because cute appearance but being treated so disrespectfully isn’t worth it. So many better places
