The local was a great drink choice! Just the right amount of sweetness with the honey. My sandwich was a bit pricey for the size, but to be expected at an airport.
How hard is it to make a breakfast sandwich with a some taste and a little quality.. Apparently impossible. Never again.
I liked this place close to the C gates. The “Bacon Egg & Cheese” sandwich was really good. The Large chai latte was more like a medium, but it was good. They were fast and friendly.
The employees seemed to really not want to be there (understandable), and for $15 plus tip I got a soda and a breakfast sandwich that was still cold in the middle.
Like others have pointed out, airport food will always come with a premium. However, it’s the quality of the overpriced food that matters. I ordered a hot green tea and a breakfast sandwich. No complaints about the tea— that’s nearly impossible to mess up. The breakfast sandwich was subpar. Torn between egg & cheese or bacon, egg & cheese, I gluttonously chose the addition of bacon since the menu stated it had black pepper aioli on rustic bread. What they meant was “glorified Mayo with black pepper on a grocery store-baked roll.” Quite honestly, the roll was better than it looked— light and fluffy. It’s not the “rustic bread” that the menu depicts though. Others have mentioned the lack of bacon and the single egg on the sandwich. I would agree that the single piece of bacon and the pepper-Mayo do not justify the $1.50 price differential between this and the bacon-less sandwich. I will give them credit that the egg actually seemed to be an egg and the cheese was not some plastic-wrapped Kraft singles (no offense to anyone who loves that stuff). Staff was friendly at 6am, service was quick, but this is basically a grab-and-go spot, so I wouldn’t expect any different.
I ordered a chicken sandwich and their toaster oven was broken. I specifically said I didn't want it cold....and she insisted it would be hot, she put it in twice. The middle wasn't cooked *or warm* at all. $19 for a cold sandwich and drink.
Croissant was frozen, coffee shot was not worth it, cookies cold on the inside. Waited in line for it for 30 minutes to spend $20+. Had to throw it all away.
Located in terminal C. Alternative milks available as well as breakfast pastries. Light and dark roast coffee available for regular coffee. I ordered the oat milk latte. Fairly smootg profile with a mildly bitter forefront.
First off, the cashier was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a blt and it was out relatively expeditiously. The blt had the most thin and unappealing looking bacon. It was that microwaveable bacon you can get at the supermarket. The aioli on it was really unevenly distributed. The bread roll was great. I will just get a bagel with cream cheese next time.
I ordered a caramel macchiato with oat milk and the coffee was bitter, so bitter I didn’t finish it. Not recommended
I ordered a cappucino and a breakfast sandwich at the bongo Java at BNA. What I got was half a sandwich (literally 4 bites) and a half a cup of coffee. Besides not getting enough food to fill a 2 year old's stomach, it cost me $12.84. Stay away!
It was disappointing. I couldn't even drink it and threw it away. Had a really weird taste to it.
Very fast service, while all the other coffee places had really long wait times, Bongo kept the line moving, I spent less than 6 minutes from start to finish..Friendly staff, decent espresso.
I have walked the airport and this was the best espresso I have found. I don’t mind paying or supporting new businesses that have a good product. I will definitely will be stopping back when ever I’m at BNA.
Every time you buy something with cash they never have change to give back. So you end up even paying more than what the original price for your item is.
Ok, so right off the bat you know airport prices are insane. That being said, service was fast and the coffee and cheese danish were excellent!
Don’t get the croissant
If you’re game for paying $50 for two black coffees, two waters, a cup of milk, a muffin, and two breakfast sandwiches smaller than a White Castle slider, this is your place! Seriously, stay away from this place. You’ll wait 20 minutes for a “quick breakfast” and you’ll leave with mediocre coffee, just enough food to make you hungry for lunch, and an empty wallet.
The quality of the food is nice, but paying 9.50 plus tax for a sandwich that is 1/3 of a normal Turkish roll is just wrong. Genuine rip off
Disappointing, especially for the price
