Went here today for the first time since the remodel. Still great food and now it looks amazing too. Number 1 in Lindan.
VCC is a great place... my high school friend Betty is the head cook and she's good... Service is friendly and all smiles... Their menu is well-priced... Their burgers and pizza are highlight meals... They feed the community with care and pride... Enjoy!
Salad bar was very good along with the hamburger steak I had!
Order was taken over phone and read back to me. Got home and pizza was wrong, extra sauce wasn't included but paid for. Called them to let them know order was wrong yet didn't offer to be fixed. First time this ever happened here, yall check food before you leave. Order was under Nelson.

They just finished going through a remodel the salad bar could do with a lot more items. Other than that experience was good
We stopped in on 2-5-2023 while visiting Mousetail Landing. Linden is a quaint little town and this restaurant hit the spot. I had the hamburger steak with grilled onions, mushrooms and peppers it was excellent. Karen served us and she did a super job.
I guess you have to be a regular in order to get service. When we entered the restaurant, there were no hostess or servers around. A couple people at tables, a few people at the salad bar. We didn't know if you sit anywhere so we walked around a bit. As we were sitting, a 4 top came in and was settling into a table. The server and a trainee came out and the greeted the 4 top, small talkes and took their order. We were not acknowledged or greeted. The servers went back to the kitchen, an order came up. We sat, not acknowledged. We left. Serving 101 - 2 top before 4 top, get drink orders first.
Nice and charming atmosphere, kind staff. Would go again :) Nice way to indulge in local life on our trip to Linden/Tennessee to where we have deep family history
I was just driving through town and checked to see if there was anyplace good in town to eat. The name is kinda weird but it was filled with locals and there was a buffet and a salad bar. I had broiled shrimp and chicken and it was great. Next trip through I will definitely be hitting this place.
Fish was under cooked. On all 3 orders chicken was also under cooked. We didn't complain but ate the rest of our food. My husband was upset bc when he looked at his receipt it didn't show the $20tip he left our waitress bc she did a great job. Hope she got it.....
Betty was the sweetest server! She made us feel like family and took great care of us. We had the fried pickles which were so good, the parm chicken sandwich with fries and the meat and pineapple pizza. Every thing we had was very good and flavorful. The pizza was delicious! Will definitely be back.
Good food in a small town. Its not going to blow youre socks off. But it is a good stop.

Service was slow. The cafe was not very clean. The food was good. The salad bar was fresh. The prices were very reasonable. It was late on a busy Saturday night so maybe that contributed to the slow service. The staff was very friendly.
