Walked in 8:17am waited 8 minutes to get a menu. Not crowded. The whole experience felt like every customer coming thru the door was a major inconvenience. One couple walked in and the waiter frowned and said "its going to be another one of those mornings". 8:25 waiter walked up with menus. First thing out of her mouth was "we close at 9:30. We have a party coming in." When asked, it was a biweekly Ladies Group. I said if we can get our order in, we'll be out of your hair quickly. She puts a "reserved" sign on a table of 6 across from us before the people get finished eating. Telling them no rush but this is for people coming in. They leave by 9am. The whole time the cook is over the wall fussing about the orders. Sounds like grandpa would rather be fishing. Western Omelet was decent. Food over all OK. Oh, we were told if we were paying by cash to give her the tip by hand as the other help takes it. I only ever saw her. The other employees back in the kitchen. When more people started coming in the waiter attempted to move a table. Seemed like she was trying to prevent or block its use. These bikers were helping her move it then sat down at it. Crazy place but... it's this or fast food. The other location was temporarily closed. This is Friday morning on Memorial Day weekend.
Food was good and the service was excellent and they were well priced
Walked in....seated ourselves...waited 10 minutes then got up to fix my own drinks...and another customer, whom I wish I knew her name....was clearing people's tables, said no...i will get that for you. Never once got greeted by anyone that worked there. So finally another 10 min I went up to the cooks window and said can I place our order with you please? She was very kind, and cooked our food to perfection....and is the only reason i rated them a 3. They need someone else in there that will at least greet folks and be friendly....not to mention her lousy service.
Best Breakfast in Hohenwald! Only wish we had discovered this place sooner! Went every morning after. They are open from 5-11am, and I suggest to go earlier than later if you want biscuits and gravy, because they do sell out! They make everything to order, so if they are packed, you may have to wait a bit, but we didn't mind at all. Lots of friendly regulars to chat with and the coffee flows. Great hash browns and I'm still talking about the biscuits and sausage gravy! 😋

I guess I should have known when the waitress told us “it’s going to be awhile “ as opposed to “welcome” we should have known how it would go. There was a large group of obnoxious women who had more joining every few minutes. The waitress totally ignored us and kept taking the arriving party members. We left after being skipped over to place our order several times. As we left no one even said a word. I hope the women in the group support this place daily … as they seem to be the most important I frequent hohenwald a lot. I’ll be sure to tell all my friend where not to go

I had breakfast here on Monday and it was awesome. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns were nice and crisp like I like them

Service was really good but I wouldn't order a steak from them. Wanted it medium rare got it super well done. Like shoe leather done :(
