Service is very spotty. It’s like half the staff wants to make you feel at home and the other half wants you to get the hell out of their establishment. Based on multiple visits, I can firmly say the vibe isn’t good.
We sat and waited for our basic sandwiches for 45 minutes and the food never came. I finally went to the front to ask about our food and was told that the waitress never placed our order!!! The manager never came over to apologize or offer any sort of explanation. Then the audacity of the hostess brought us a bill for the 2 cocktails we ordered but only drank one of! Finally the waitress came over and profusely apologized as this was her first day serving. I honestly felt bad for her as she was embarrassed and overwhelmed. At this point the hostess came back and told us the manager "comped" our one drink that was actually consumed. All in all this place gets a one star but only because the bloody mary was decent. So absolutely disappointing and the manager should be embarrassed that she/he failed to step up and speak to us and personally apologize. Honestly I have had better experiences at taco bell!!
Food was mind melting, service was even better 😍😍😍 server was super cute!!(left a pic for the girlies) will definitely visit again- get the antipasti if you go 😉
Bad experience at the monkey. We had attended the Predators Wine Festival at the Bridgestone Arena. At the frothy monkey table they gave us two tickets for a half bottle of wine. So when we finally visited the frothy monkey, we only had one choice on a bottle of wine and it was $54. The manager working that day on Sunday May 21st told us there was one other bottle but he had tasted it and we probably wouldn't like it?? Realize we were never told any price never shown any price?? When we went ahead and placed our order we gave the waiter both of our half-bottle coupons thinking the one whole bottle whatever the price may have been that they've determined not us would have been free because of the two coupons. When we received the bill we were shocked at the price. I looked up the price of the wine and it's $15 yet they charged us $54. I realize there needs to be a markup but not 350%. We asked why only one coupon was applied when nobody objected it on the front end and then on the back end used just the one coupon and never returned the second coupons back to us since it wasn't being used. Just seemed like a bait-and-switch situation where you go in expecting an opportunity to use a coupon and it seemed to me as the price was just doubled up to make it appear like we got a discount. Sadly we will not be back.
HIGHLY recommend for EVENTS!! Frothy Monkey is such an amazing place! Brunch is amazing, as well as lunch and dinner! The service is always amazing and we love it so much we had our rehearsal dinner in the private event room. They may sure we had everything we needed, let us come early to set up some of the space, and we had a dedicated server that made sure we had everything we needed! Thank you to the Frothy Monkey team that made our event super special!
The staff took great care of us. I asked if they had a quiet spot where I could do an online meeting, so the host and his mgr gave me a whole room where I was even able to turn down the house music. Andreas checked on us regularly, got our customized orders right down to the last detail. Great coffee, cool space, hospitable service, and a funky vibe. If only they had places to plug in device chargers, the score would’ve been 5+

Great coffee shop with excellent food options! It’s rare that you find a restaurant with great coffee or an amazing coffee shop with delicious food. Frothy Monkey has both! There’s a very nice patio to enjoy the warmer weather, that’s great for conversation and people watching. I always use this place as a meet-up spot for friends and family who are out-of-towners. There’s street parking available and also parking in the back that’s very affordable if you can’t find a spot out front. The service is great too. The staff are friendly and know their menu items well. It’s a must try, while in Franklin!
Man whoever is working at that counter right when you walk in today is a first class guy. There was some confusion involving payment towards my order and the way he made me feel like a priority and took care of it while juggling 1,000 other customers was just stupendous. The coffee here is only the beginning!
I want to love this place but it's in desperate need of a good cleaning and the food and service has been on a decline. Love the coffeestill which is the highlight.
Cashier was not friendly enough to be doing a first impression job. The decaf coffee was not good.
Absolutely enjoyed my breakfast here! Franny was a great server and had everyone smiling that she interacted with. I cannot wait to come back to Franklin and share this place with friends.
I enjoyed my lunch and the server was nice. You can't beat the location! I will definitely go back for breakfast or brunch. The options looked fantastic!

Gosh, I hardly know what to say. Obviously, from other reviews, this place is a local favorite. What's more, it was highly recommended by an out of town friend who made a point of telling us it was a must visit. We were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, our meal just wasn't good...and our server was distracted and visibly irritated about something (not related to us). I'd like to think it was a one-off bad experience. Maybe we'll try again sometime.
We have been in Tennessee for 3 days; this has been the best service we've thus far by a long shot. Alvin was great! And the food was phenomenal!
I go to this location a lot. The food and coffee are both consistently great. The wait staff is really nice, although the service is not fast. I often have to ask twice for some thing I’ve ordered or ask for the bill more than once. As long as you’re not on a tight schedule, it’s definitely worth going.
Decent place and good coffee. The food we tried we felt was a little pricey for what we received. Service was good.
had the best match latte i’ve ever had. i got a iced vanilla matcha latte!!
Came in for breakfast with a large group with many children. Staff was very accommodating. Food and service was great.
