I work at this wanderful place to eat and conversate..very sweet and friendly people.
The wife and I eat here every Wednesday night. You simply can not beat the food, the prices or the staff. Christy, Maggie & Leann are the best. The Mexican cornbread with pinto beans and chicken livers is where it's at, then top it off with the best homemade coconut pie you ever eaten! Go see them you won't be disappointed

The service was slow but the home-cooked food was really good. The prices can't be beat. Will definitely go back.
Food has always been good
The best country cooking. Seasoned to my taste. Pot Roast Veggies. Cabbage &white beans Were my sides.Cornbread and Iced tea. So good I plan to go tomorrow to sample Chicken and dumplings. Or Chicken & dressing.

I did like the green beans, Mac n Cheese, and the pie. However, I just didn't like the catfish there was too much batter and barely enough fish. 🙃 it was just odd overall the staff was really friendly.
Very good food and excellent service
For those of us that are a little older. It's your basic but delicious blue plate specials. Food was good, portions not too much but definitely not too little had a little leftover for an afternoon snack. Did not have room for dessert so hubby and I will need to go back for that.
The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and kind. We were very pleased and this will definitely be one of our favorite places to go to!

You will not find better southern cooking than at the Dayton Coffee Shop. They have the most amazing food and great service!
