We discovered this little gem on our way through. So glad we stopped, had a wonderfull lunch and enjoyed the garden with lovely roses (also on the table, reminds me of my home in Noordwijk, the Netherlands) and mulberry trees. The staff, youngsters, were very friendly and kind. We came back in the evening to have an icecream. Also delicious.
All kind of flavors. Very nice people. Small place but a lot of room outside.
Vibrant, friendly and sweet that's how I would describe the young woman at the front. The coffee was DELICIOUS, the chai was creamy and sweet and the latte was perfect. We got breakfast sandwiches both days. The sausage was really good and my husband loved the toasted sourdough. I wish we lived in the area so I could support this small business daily. :)
The food is delicious good thick bread and the coffee is a bit to hot but over all it's good
Atmosphere is great. Peaceful stream beside you, great views. Their window air conditioner needs to go. Kinda kills the vibe. Service was great but slow. Took probably ten minutes to get our drinks and it wasn't too busy. Coffee was just so so to me. I'm not a know everything in the realm of coffee land but it was on the weak side for me with the flavors not coming through well. Price was less than Starbucks so that's good. Overall we liked the place and would return and try something else.
Great little shop with delicious coffee and ice cream after a long day of mountain hiking. They had food and other options we didn’t try. I’d recommend visiting after a day at the gap!
I ordered a veggie and tuna wrap. Hot country bumpkin and iced wedding cake drink. Everything was great!
This is one of the top 5 best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is incredible, their is outside seating avaliable, and the atmosphere is so comforting. 5 stars.
What a great little place. I almost missed it. My wife loved the chicken salad sandwich! Beautiful grounds and friendly staff!
Delicious coffee, great service and the most beautiful location on the creek.
Wonderful coffee and service . BEAUTIFUL LOCATION!
Servers seemed really mad. Saw them shaking their heads about customers. Making faces. Just unhappy. The wait was too long for what the food was as well
Nice place, fairly busy staff was great. I ordered the pimento and bacon panini but the order got mixed up and got something with chicken. I am not sure what it was but it was good. I am 30 minutes away but will definitely stop by again next time for breakfast. Still good dropped by for breakfast since the first post still good
I love this place! When I think of Tennessee, I think of Gap Creek Coffee House. Friendly faces, good food and great coffee!
In terms of a classic coffee house in one of the most perfect locations this place is 5 stars. The drinks are great and sitting by the creek is a perfect way to start your morning. BUT, then there's the food. It's not cheap and looking at this place I imagined the food would be high quality. It's not. My kids ordered waffles and they were just grocery store frozen waffles with whipped cream and processed strawberry sauce. I got a bagel and it was the same, just a basic grocery store bagel that I don't even buy at grocery stores because they're terrible. Lastly, my wife got a breakfast sandwich on sourdough thinking this would be a sandwich worthy of this shop on a bakery sourdough but... Nope. Same thing. Grocery store "sourdough" (i.e. straight up white bread). And again, this wasn't cheap (which btw, this place doesn't post their prices). As a stand alone coffee house this is a great place. As for their food, I couldn't be more disappointed.
My over all experience was amazing! The views are great with the customer service. Be sure to get a receipt and your number before leaving the register to make sure you get your order. It was very busy on a Saturday afternoon. It’s worth the wait and teaches some patience’s. No complaints here.
Such a tranquil place both indoor and outdoor. The food add its taste with the fresh air, flowing stream music, singing of birds and hospitality of the Owners and staff
Best place with fresh ingredients. Love the chicken salad sandwich.
I don't know how I have not reviewed this place before. We are from out of town but come 2 times a year to the area for family. We always make it a point to come to the coffee shop and then hike one of the nearby trails. It's always a highlight of our trip!
I grabbed some coffee and tasty sandwiches before a hike. The peanut butter cookies were also delicious!
