Nice, quaint little shop on the square in Covington, it's filled with cute and unique boutique gift ideas for men, women and children.

Went to Old Town Cafe twice this past week. We are moving from Atlanta area to Covington. Couldn`t be any happier. Nancy does a Top Notch job of offering new menu items daily. Fresh and healthy. The atmosphere is warm and elegant. Always bumping into interesting people . I look foward to my next visit. I give these folks 5 STARS

We enjoyed shrimp creole with a strawberry spinach salad for lunch yesterday and it was delicious! Buttered rolls and blueberry cobbler, oh my!! Such a friendly place! Definitely would recommend. Thank you 😊

Arrived before 1 PM on a Tuesday. Although the place was half empty, it took a while for the server to show up and take our drink orders. The table had not been cleaned since the previous customers and there were water rings and crumbs in front of us. She didn’t actually clean our table until the rolls had been served and we’d started eating. So while we’re eating, she cleans the table and we are overpowered by the smell of disinfectant cleaner. We wanted soup, but they were all out of soup for the day. So we went for the special written on the board right next to our table, but the server said that was yesterday’s special. So I went for the Philly steak panini, and the server said they were out of that as well. It was one of those “well can you tell me what you DO have?” situations. I settled for a burger and fries. The burger was nothing special - it came dry with no condiments, and the server didn’t ask me if I wanted any condiments. On the plus side, the steak fries were delicious and perfectly cooked, with a lightly crunchy outside and hot, fluffy center. Also, the ambience was nice, especially the unique horizontal double ceiling fan. I wouldn’t necessarily avoid this place, but wouldn’t choose to come here again right away. Then again, there isn’t much to chose from in this little town.
