Donuts are my weakness, they are good but definitely not my favorite

Decent donuts and kolaches but not exceptional. The staff was efficient but not overly friendly. All in all it was an average visit. We bought a dozen assorted donuts. I do recommend the Bavarian cream chocolate covered donut! My son-in-law did not like the apple fritter because it had some kind of cinnamon candy taste to it. Probably just a personal preference. The kolaches were okay, I prefer a flakier crust and this was more like a bread dough. It didn't taste bad, just doughy.
Went for the first time today!!! Jeremy represented for this place like I have never seen before. He was enthusiastic and friendly and knew the product. His excitement made me buy more than I had planned. Great experience and great donuts. I will be back!!!
Maybe just my expectations are different. I craved a chocolate donut which I usually get at a different establishment. Since i live equidistant between Shirley's and the other famous donut place. I decided to try Shirley's. I didn't notice what I would equateto my chocolate donut but the person pointed at one and said that was a chocolate donut. It didn't look very chocolate-like. But I bought it anyway. One bite and I just could not finish. I tasted like died bread with drizzle. Maybe that is the difference between a donut and. Do-nut?
Soooo glad TN finally has Shipleys! Everything is soooo delicious! The kolaches are the best! The owner is very nice and takes pride in his store! I was raised on Shipleys and nothing else even comes close! I love the selection and everything is always just as yummy as I remember.
Somewhat disappointing. The kolaches were thin on the pastry and overcooked. Guess I'm just used to the flagship in North Shore.
Today was the first time my husband and I visited. We definitely weren’t disappointed! The man running the front counter was super nice and the donuts were so good! My favorite is the chocolate glazed with nuts for sure. We will definitely be back!
my donuts were soggy like they had been dropped in water before they were boxed. Jelly filled donuts were careless filled.

The customer service was stellar! The doughnuts lacked flavor, and they were very dense. I definitely will not be eating here again. Again, the customer service was A+
We tried Shipley's Donuts as a wonderful neighbor who recently fell leaving her homebound loves her donuts plus your new in town-they were perfect-Great texture with just the right amount of glaze and so Tasty-We are giving your donuts a most deserved "10"......
I have been to this location about 5 times all weekend mornings and they never have enough kolaches. I went at 9am once and they didn’t have sausage and cheese, I went the following weekend and they were out of ham and cheese. I’m from Texas and there are Shipleys almost on every corner and I have never been to one where they have been out. Make more kolaches!!
The taste of these donuts are great. Do I recommend that you try them for yourself yes I do

This place is awesome!! I grew on shipleys so trust me when I tell you that this is what you need to order: sausage and cheese kolache, a bag of donut holes, and a blueberry cake donut!! Great location, amazing staff, best donuts!!
