Coffee: 10/10. I got the Caramel cold brew with sweet cream 😋 Music: 3/10 a little loud and distracting. The seats were comfy and the tables were clean 🫧 The people were friendly Parking was a little inconvenient because, well, it's downtown. It was a little cool. I wished I had brought a jacket. I went to drink coffee and study. The coffee was exceptional, but the environment was a little distracting.

Fantastic little coffee shop in Columbia, Tennessee. I haven't been since they moved nextdoor to their new location, but I really appreciated the care and attention that the baristas give to all of their drinks. I enjoy trying their seasonal drinks when I'm in town, but nothing beats a good cup of black coffee, and they often have a few different kinds available on drip.

Better than decent, though not exceptional. Espresso is served a bit hot, lattes are a bit heavy on the milk ratio, but unless you're a complete specialty coffee nerd, you'll be super satisfied. I wish there was less of a focus on syrups, but I get that the Starbucks crowd needs a jumping off point.

This is a popular spot and well deserved. The staff is always friendly. Coffee and other drinks are fresh and prepared well. If you stay, the interior is nice and efficient, while a bench and table outdoors is a good option. I am excited for the expansion!

Love their all purpose blend, and the Woodsman and they are always super friendly. Their decaf is also fantastic

I don't get the hype. It's a nice location and very convenient on the square, but the coffee just isn't that great. The staff are great and helpful, but everytime I go, even if I'm adding an extra shot, it just tastes like watery milk with a hint of coffee. I just want more from a local coffee shop.

This is some good coffee! All made in house with different blends to purchase by the pound or by 5lbs or you can enjoy a cup of good coffee. Lots of different flavors and styles of coffee and don't forget the merch to remember you stay. Lots of room inside to enjoy your coffee and pastry and in time the shop will be expanding for more room and opportunities to make your coffee stay more enjoyable. Friendly staff to create a warm experience and a tasty brew. Definitely recommend this place

Having lived in Columbia for 14 years and even with the addition of more coffee shops, MCR is still the best. I live about 0.7 miles away so I frequent this establishment at least twice a week. I've had everything on the menu. My favorite is either French press dark roast or a latte with caramel. Its not overly sweet like some other coffee shops. Now as far as food goes, when they have them, the asiago cheese bagel and chocolate chip cookies are just out of this world delicious 🤤😋. The baristas are very welcoming and masters at their craft. The ambiance is modern & relaxed, although it's usually very busy. My family is moving soon 😞 so I can pursue my passion of travel nursing. Rest assured, I will miss MCR but at least I know I can buy their beans in bulk. What a Muletown gem 💎!!!!!!

We love Muletown for many reasons (my go-to is an iced oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon and theirs always hit the spot— ask for the light toast espresso!), but today we discovered a new one— they offer travelers! Next time you host a brunch or have a big group over and want to offer guests coffee, save yourself the time and hassle of brewing it all yourself and grab a traveler from Muletown. All of our guests were so excited to be treated to such good coffee.

Y'all - this is my absolute favorite coffee place in town. It is super small so do not expect to get a seat on a busy morning. However, I think the size gives it such a quaint and home-y feel. Their drinks are exceptional and the staff is always so kind and helpful. In addition to drinks, they have a nice array of merchandise too like mugs and stickers. Added bonus - they also have a water station so you don't have to go up to the counter or wait in line for just a cup of water. I highly recommend if you're looking for a local cup of coffee!
