2023 update: With new ownership in 2022, Square Beans has really taken things to a new level. This is easily the best latte in town now, and the consistent availability of world-class pastries and sandwiches make it a go-to destination! They also feature an ever-changing list if seasonal specialty drinks for when the best latte in town isn't quite enough for you. Original review 2017: Best small town coffee shop imaginable! Great coffee drinks, great homemade pastries, great gelato and great Turtle Shell pottery for sale.
Coffee was excellent. Will be back soon and probably getting an Affogato with their fresh gelato (yes that rhymes) next time!

Great little coffee shop using J Brooks coffee beans, the best local roaster in Memphis.
As someone who cannot drink coffee, I can oftentimes only get hot chocolate at coffee shops, which, let’s be honest, isn’t that great. At square beans, not only do they have amazing hot chocolates, they also have other options that aren’t coffee. Their food is amazing! Anyone can find something they like here. Highly recommend. 😁

Delicious Mocha latte and its Hot Chocolate; if compared to Dunkin’s hot chocolate, is much more tasty with Cinnamon.
Really nice atmosphere
Came here waiting for another store to open. I dont drink coffee but I do eat breakfast sandwiches. Ordered a sausage, egg (i think 1 used), and cheese and a ham (on the thinner side), cheese, and bacon on their homemade biscuits. Came out piping-hot, freshly made. Enjoyed my meal. Quaint little shop that provided a toasty refuge from the crisp cold outside. Nice atmosphere with a view of the square outside. Very busy in terms of an active customer base (meaning they're doing something right with their coffee) without being loud or cramped. Coming here allowed me to enjoy a good, peaceful morning.
I walk here everyday from work for coffee. My kids want to come here on the weekend, in part for the atmosphere of the Square and visits to the train cars. Hard to imagine a more well-positioned or well-suited coffee shop for Collierville.

This is a wonderful hidden gem. Their prices are no more than Starbucks. They have much better food to go with your drink if you would like. A great place to meet friends, make friends, read, ir just relax.
One of my favorite coffee shops. They bring in new drinks which is often but the basic coffees are wonderful as well. I’ve bought coffee here as well and it’s always recently roasted and pretty fresh. Gelato flavors switch out as well but I haven’t tried a bad one yet. My dog knows the way there and thinks the people are the best.
