If you're ever in Clarksville and in need of caffeine, come to Plumb Line Coffee! Delicious cold brew and espresso done to perfection. The atmosphere is very friendly and amicable for students or freelancers hoping to get some work done as well as families with children
Cute little coffee shop with GREAT coffee! I got the Cuban (hot), which was delicious. Staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. Quick service but also a good environment if you need to get some work done. Parking is a block away but it was a quick, easy walk so no inconvenience. Next time I'm at APSU, I know the spot I'll be getting my coffee!! *photo is lemon poppyseed muffin, which was also so good. You could tell fresh ingredients & moist.
The crew members are all so sweet and have excellent customer service. The atmosphere is also great for studying, reading, and even little coffee dates. Highly recommend :)
I enjoyed the atmosphere uniquely built feels small at times friendly staff kinda would enjoy having coffee and be on my way but you have to put your lid on or add sugar and often you may be standing trying to get your coffee the way you want it while someone is ordering a coffee or someone is getting theirs picked up so it's can be crowded overall. Nice place
If you are a coffee lover and want a good cappuccino, this is the right place. I've been here for years and as soon as I discovered it, I'll be a regular customer. También hay café de Guatemala, Costa Rica, honduras entre otros
Nice little place for a cup of JOE! They have a larger sitting area in the rear of the shop for bigger size party. I had the (Large) LATTE hot with bourbon vanilla. And let me tell you something IT WAS GREAT! Not a lot of food opinions since is coffee shop, but they do have pastries and breakfast burritos! Gabby the barista was great Super nice and knowledgeable!
Amazing atmosphere and amazing drinks! It's very cozy and perfect for getting work done, just listening to music or catching up with a friend!
My go to local coffee shop! I usually get my coffee to go by. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. A place to go and put some headphones on and do some computer work. My favorite drink is the Cuban latte hot. So delish!!
Beware if you don't tip! The staff seemed annoyed that there were customers and were not very welcoming. The general vibe of the employees was that they wanted to be left alone. I will tip at coffee shops if the service is exceptional, I'm getting a large order, or my drink is complicated. However, I ordered a single 12oz plain latte to go (that cost me around $6). I was left waiting for 35 minutes while four customers with larger orders (2-4 drinks and food) ordered and left before I got my drink. Just be aware that you will not be a priority if you aren't tipping. The coffee is good, it is fruity and sweet, but not overpowering. The latte are was cute too! There is a lot of seating, couches and tables.
Plenty of potential. Parking is less than ideal, and of course the location is more convenient for students. The coffee is smoother than I’ve ever tasted, and I liked the presentation, but didn’t stay warm long. Employees are friendly enough and helpful. The interior is nice, different from big coffee chains and gives a delightfully unique coffee experience. However, the dull lighting and odd angle at which natural light enters makes the interior too cozy with a somewhat somber ambiance.
The espresso here is straight from heaven. "Plumb Line" actually refers to the linear path that it follows as it falls from the sky into your coffee mug.
Great coffee! It was our first time in so I asked the staff for a recommendation and they did not disappoint - The Whiskey Caramel latte was excellent.
The coffee is very good and they have house made syrups, none of the mass produced garbage. The coffee is in the middle between fruity notes and darker earthier coffees. I highly recommend! The staff is very pleasant and friendly. The layout is good for conversations and getting work done. Simple, clean, and no over decoration. The hum of fridges is the only reason it does. It get five stars for atmosphere.
I wish I could give 5 stars overall. The coffee is great and the staff is always super friendly, but it is too expensive to justify. By the time you leave a tip, it's $9-$10 for a 12-16 oz. latte
My favorite place so far in Clarksville to grab a coffee. We were almost always going to Nashville for a good cup of coffee until we found Plumb Line. My absolute favorite is their dark chocolate latte. I also love that you can order online ahead of time although their website is a little glitchy.
Lovely coffee shop. The drink menu was a refreshing change from the everyday Starbucks. The music select was great for the atmosphere, could drink your coffee and talk. Very enjoyable time.
Unfortunately we stopped on our way though town. First time, I got a PSL even tried the flavor beforehand. Once I got my coffee it just tasted like milk and coffee so I asked if I could get some more flavor added and they straight up said no 😂 they don't "modify" their drinks. What?? What coffee shop won't add flavor to their drinks??
People were very sweet there! Atmosphere was very nice! I guess I should have asked was expecting my pumpkin spice to have some kind of sweet to it and it did not. It was still good for a non-sweetened coffee.
Super cute little coffee shop, absolutely loved the environment and the employee working was very friendly and kind! The menu is a little different and they didn’t have generic coffee (I ordered a white chocolate mocha which they didn’t have). My coffee tasted a bit burnt but good and my breakfast burrito was good as well. A little on the pricy side, for a small coffee and burrito it was 14.00. However you couldn’t beat the environment and service!
I always love stopping by Plumb Line! The drinks and baked goods are delicious and the staff is always so friendly.
