Best cafe! Everything about it is great! Their coffee is equivalent to Starbucks if not better! Their chef salads are 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 and HUGE. Kid friendly. And their cookies and ice cream are SO good! 20/10 recommend.

This place was amazing. Great food, friendly staff and beautifully decorated. I had the Chipotle sandwich, cranberry orange muffin and Carmel apple cider. Every bite and sip was delicious!

1. That is HANDS DOWN THE BEST ICE CREAM I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 32 YEARS OF LIFE. And I am addicted to sweets, so that says A LOT!!! 2. The two women working there are knowledgeable about THE ENTIRE history of the old Breeces, AND the new “Local Place.” As I was used to Breeces, they filled me in and were so nice! 3. It makes coming back to Centerville worth my time and gave a much needed sprinkle of life to that God forsaken town.

We love The Local Place. The food is always fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the staff is always so friendly. Bonus: the best place around when you just have to have homemade ice cream for breakfast :).
Centerville is lucky to have such an awesome cool spot.
I have been here a few times and it is light and airy and the staff are great. Very comfortable allowa.for a conversation without interfering with other people and you can even use your laptop in peace.

This is the first time that we have tried the local place. We found it to be clean and cozy, the ice cream was to die for! Our family was very well satisfied with everything that they got! The service was Swift and very tasty!
I did a online order for dinner tonight for my family. I ordered the chipotle chicken sandwich, caprese sandwich, a buffalo chicken sandwich and a big bowl of loaded baked potato soup and it's all delicious. My family enjoyed their dinner. I'd definitely recommend eating at this place.

Dropped two different ice creams twice,went back for cookie,dog ate the cookie when I got home. Very sympathetic on all occasions. 10/10 would recommend.
Just amazing Cafe! Good coffee, big choice of home made ice cream. Even gluten free ice cone as option. Interior remind me Europe (where I'm originally from). Definitely recommend! Very friendly and understanding stuff.
Drove 35 minutes because the vm on thier machine said they were open till 2pm on sundays. They are most definitely not open Sundays.
