Our newborn has a severe food allergy, actually like 5 of them. So needless to say, food options are limited. We have tried eating out 1/2 a dozen times at places that say they can accommodate. None of them could. Melissa cleared the line, sanitized everything, and did not cross contaminate at all. She turned customers away, shut down the kitchen, and treated us way better than any other big restaurant had. We tipped about 100% of our bill for 4 people. Melissa, I greatly appreciate the true care you showed.

Stopped by during the "off season" for a quick bite after revisiting a special spot for us on the mountain nearby. Wow! Surprisingly wide variety of menu items from salad and sandwiches to homemade soups and desserts, Myrtle's offers the weary Highway 64 traveller or Ocoee paddler a welcome break from typical burgers and fries and other road food fare. This sweet cafe is homey and the staff was helpful and friendly. I was also shocked to see haystacks (a vegetarian taco salad) on the menu by name, as well as some meatless and even vegan options like dairy free cheese choices. We ate our meal on the front patio where there are a few tables available. It was not overpriced by any means, either (less than $20 for both of us including a shared dessert). If you're near Ocoee and would like a great, non-sketchy place to rest and enjoy some good food, I highly recommend you visit this little gem.

We made the trip out from Cleveland to check out this local establishment. The internet says they open at 8am, but this is apparently not true because they were still closed at 9am.

A quaint Deli type restaurant. I had the loaded baked potato with Deli sausage on top. It was delicious and an ample amount.

Absolutely hands down will be back at least once a month (we drove about 30 minutes). We tried the French dip with potato salad, blackberry and goat cheese grilled cheese sandwich with the cucumber salad and the brie, apricot and bacon grilled cheese with the loaded potato soup. OMG. It was all absolutely amazing!!! The flavors were so complimentary, the food was served up fast even though there's only the two of them working today, and the atmosphere was funky and homey at the same time. We will definitely be making this a staple outing!

What a great addition to the Benton community. The food is delicious, we had the the chicken Caesar. Our friends had the steak sandwich, tuna melt, potato soup and a few other things I can’t remember. All the food was delicious. What really stands out is the service and atmosphere, they have a great blend of cozy, thoughtful and humorous service that really just makes you feel welcome and at home. Can’t say enough positive about our experience at Myrtles’s and can’t wait to return!
