Was really good coffee
The Lavender Honey Latte was amazing and truly service with a smile!!
We had the best ham & Swiss croissant ever!! Ordered a blended snickerdoodle drink and it was extremely delicious! We will absolutely be making this our new favorite spot!

I’ve been to Backroads many, many times. It’s a cozy coffee shop in an unexpected location with good drinks and food options. My complaint is that the ownership isn’t very customer-service forward. We’ve had two experiences with the owner, where we had legitimate questions/complaints about the food and instead of offering a genuine apology (which is all we really were asking for) she got defensive and almost accusatory. Latest example, my gluten free toast came out with huge holes in it - clearly not their fault since they didn’t bake the bread, but instead of saying “I’m so sorry about that” or “I see that.. can I get you an extra slice?” She said “well, you try to find a different gluten free bread, let me know.” I’ve never been asked by a restaurant to source my own products, or reprimand me for pointing something obvious like that out. Kind of an awkward encounter at a coffee shop. But overall, still like the place.
An unexpected find that is off-the-beaten-path in Watertown! Will definitely stop again now when passing through Watertown.

Stunning coffeehouse on the north side of town. Beautiful decor with a modern farmhouse feel, very comforting. The cappuccinos were done perfectly in a traditional way. Absolutely loved this adorable place!
Great food and coffee. It is on the pricier side $35 for 2 coffees, a sandwich, and a wrap. The wrap was missing chicken on half of it which is a bit frustrating and also included tomatoes even though we asked for no tomatoes. The coffee tastes wonderful though and I highly recommend.
If you haven't been here yet, you better get here! The coffee flavors are wonderful, but I have learned to add extra flavors in mine. The food is absolutely amazing, I definitely recommend the Jo Jo's burrito and the raspberry cream cheese flips! The inside is very cozy and relaxing.
Simple menu of sandwiches and light bites. Sandwich was exactly what I wanted. My wife got their soup, which was fantastic. Great atmosphere. Fun find on our drive through.
Consistently good coffee and a great atmosphere. The food is also amazing. I highly recommend the Chipotle bowl. The Cuvée beans they use for their coffee and espresso are also the real deal. Buy a bag for your home brew. You won’t be disappointed. Backroads is a huge asset to the community.
The best lunch food. They now serve a really cool option of a coffee flight. So you can try multiple different drinks if you don't know what you want. Beautiful decor that is so very unique. Very friendly staff. Fun game nights even bible studies held here certain nights. A fun neighborhood spot to stop! Definitely a favorite of ours.
Lovely decor, great selection of coffees, delicious foods, AND you can have an adult beverage! My only concerns are the noise level and short hours. Otherwise, a favorite place.

Literally the most amazing chicken salad sandwich. Could eat it every single day.
Enjoyed a nice lunch for the first time here. Took my Mom out to lunch and she recommended this establishment. It was great. One of our benchmarks is how hot the soup comes out, it was hot and tasty. We enjoyed the CranAlmond Chicken salad sandwich. The clerk that waited on us, was nice and patient for newbies to look at the menu!
