I went to the source today to meet with my wedding photographer, I'd never been there before so I didn't know what to expect. I ordered what I always get from coffee shops, a chai tea with almond milk. I wasn't expecting anything out of the ordinary but this blew my mind. It was honestly the best chai tea I've ever had and I can not wait to go back and get another one.
Good please i Was this Morning took my breakfasst and nice
What a cool vibe this place has. I'm normally a coffee purist and steer away from "coffee drinks" but I decided to give it a try on this visit. They've figured out how to make coffee based drinks that are more about flavor than sugar. I tasted the "Earth Child" which is a matcha green tea drink that I will order on a future visit when I've had enough coffee. The baristas are exceptional. They listen, engage, and they know their products. Best of all they aren't coffee snobs who make curious customers feel stupid for asking questions. I would highly recommend this coffee shop to people who truly enjoy coffee as well as those who are interested in learning about good coffee and the many different ways to enjoy it. I truly enjoy coffee and have explored it around the world. This is only the second coffee shop I've found in Sioux Falls where it is fun to experience coffee that is well roasted and well brewed. Nice job to the person who came up with the idea of a coffee shop and tap room. I haven't tried the beers but I'm comfortable giving high praise to the coffee section. Kudos to the baristas, Hayden and Karissa for exceptional service and a delicious drink respectively. The Earth Child was Karissa's creation.
It is always a great place to study and grab a drink.
I reported that there phone hasn't worked in days!! Can't call and it's STILL NOT fixed!🤔🤔
A bit slow when it's busy, but good, made-to-order espresso. If you dislike fruity roasts then this is NOT the spot for you 😅 but a lot of that flavor can be balanced out with some milk (can you tell I'm not into fruity coffee? lol). They also have very fun seasonal drinks as well!
Very nice place, the atmosphere is awesome! But…. I’ve only ever gotten coffee drinks from here and have been disappointed. Maybe they’re more so known for the on tap beer, but I would not recommend ordering coffee from here. Paid for a half full poorly made cup of coffee.
"A SMALL PLACE WITH A BIG PERSONALITY'" This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion. I've been many times to Sioux Falls but yesterday, 1/7/2023, was my first at the "The Source Coffee Roastery + Taproom". I was looking for a Coffee shop and this place popped up on my google search, and the odd part is they had positive reviews only. I got there at around 3pm and the place was packed, I had 5 customers waiting ahead of me while most of the customers stood by the counter with their glass of Beer or cold brew while chatting with their friends.......what strikes you immediately when you walk in is that everybody is super-relaxed, friendly, happy and smiling, which is definitely a good sign when checking out a new place. PLACE: Cute place, modern-industrial look with a high-end design vibe. Minimally furnished but yet cozy and comfy. The grey ceiling, the white walls and the tiles/stone mounted around the counter make the room cold, and to compensate that they could use the "green" of some live plants, like Succulents, to bring some warmth. I love the huge amount of light coming in from the big window that overlooks the street and I personally consider the fixture a real delight. It is a small area, but you can easily sit 40 customers. I would also add just a few armchairs and a couch, maybe with a rug. FOOD: They do not have much when it comes to food, I have seen two options only for the customers that drink beer and wine and for the ones that enjoy a sweet treat there are some muffins, bars and other packaged bakery products, like croissants. DRINKS: Alcoholics: They have a big Selection of Beer, Wine, soft drinks and club soda..... and many other Specialty drinks. There is an entire wall, with a big selection that offers 16 unique styles of craft beer sourced from artisan breweries, where you can select the one you like, scan your prepaid card and draft yourself a glass (Taproom). I found it pretty cool actually. COFFEE: they have a prett
Good beer selection, prices were not terrible, it's a great way to try a variety, even found a cider my wife (who is very picky) likes. Update: poor choices by management mean I'll never be back
This is THE best coffee shop in Sioux Falls. The lattes are excellent. The vibe and aesthetic are giving life. EDITED: Adding another comment as well. The iced vanilla matcha latte with whole milk is literally the best thing I’ve ever tasted. And the music was INCREDIBLE… a little Frank Ocean… a little Miguel. I’m obsessed.
Great little coffee shop in downtown Sioux Falls. Will definitely be back!!
The people the work here are great, the service is amazing. Had a great drink.
Remarkable place. The modern vibe for real coffee enthusiast. You can feel the passion in every single corner. Definitely a place to go enjoy the best.
Bright sunny location for coffee and friends. Pour your own beers with a wide selection in the evening. Walk around the building and visit other businesses.
Not only the best coffee in Sioux Falls but also the best coffee in all of South Dakota, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Don’t bother going anywhere else, they know what they’re doing here! We went back the next day before we left town. 10/10
Really awesome space! Great coffee too
Genuinely one of the nicest & most relaxing cafes I have ever visited. It’s been 3 years & I still think about this place. When I make it back to SD this will be my first stop.
The best espresso and coffee in town. The staff are very knowledgeable and great at their jobs.
Great atmosphere with friendly staff and some of the best coffee in Sioux Falls. One of my favorite spots in town to work and meet with friends. 10/10 recommend.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They made a flavoured latte for me that a vlogger had ordered but was no longer on the menu. It was with lavender, honey and rose petals. The barista also made suggestions for a flavoured tea with layers of colour separation, which was also delicious. Very nice chilled out vibe in the coffee shop. Lovely place to catch an afternoon coffee break before moving on. Thank you!
