Love the shop. Come for the coffee, stay for the ambience!
If you're looking for the gentrification of rapid city look no further. Coffee was over roasted and over priced. There are better options. Not wheelchair friendly.
Excellent service, delicious drinks, love the GF food options and the atmosphere is very inviting and lovely. The unique seating options and sizes of tables for different amounts in a group is really quite handy. Love getting to feel like family when I am there.
Located in the old creamery. Average price for boutique coffee. Strong darker brew. Delicious! Helpful, happy, friendly staff. A 12 ounce bag of unground beans is a great souvenir to take home. The smell and taste will take me back to my trip's memories. Restrooms are small and even the men's room had a wait to get in.

This company hires young and snooty adults.. They scoffed at me a couple of times, like as if I was a homeless man buying coffee, just to use the bathroom. I am alum at Mines.. The disrespect is typical everytime i go in..

I had the pleasure of visiting Pure Bean Coffee House regularly while living in Rapid City and I must say, it was a delightful experience every time. From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of the café. The décor was tasteful and charming, with plenty of comfortable seating options for both individuals and groups. As a coffee lover, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the coffee served at Pure Bean Coffee House. Each cup was expertly brewed and had a rich and bold flavor that was truly satisfying. What's more, the baristas were incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft, and were happy to share their insights on different blends and brewing techniques. If you’re especially lucky, you can even catch the owner or one of the roasters (because they roast their beans in-house) and hear even more about what goes into their coffee. In addition to the coffee, I was also impressed by the quality of snacks and baked goods available at Pure Bean Coffee House. Whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat or a savory snack, there's something for everyone on the menu. Extra points if you’re lucky enough to try one of the Bierocks, but they often sell out in hours after being made fresh. Overall, I highly recommend Pure Bean Coffee House for anyone looking for a great cup of coffee in a comfortable and inviting setting. Whether you're a local or just passing through Rapid City, this café is definitely worth a visit. It is also worth noting the huge community presence they have, sponsoring many local charities and hosting events every Friday ranging from Stand Up Comedy to Coffee 101 classes.
Stopped by during a week-long road trip, best coffee I'd had in 6 states, and some of the best coffee I'd ever had! Picked up some beans to take home, was able to enjoy their coffee for another month. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
The worst coffee I’ve ever had . Ordered a vanilla latte ….tasted like powder . The staff wasn’t very friendly either . Took 15 min to get our coffee and there was barely anyone in there
Absolutely my most favorite place for coffee. Both locations are very friendly, they knew my order each time we came in. We are from Northern California and will now order our coffee from you.
The coffee creations are perfect on a cold day and breakfast was very good too. I had the biscuit sandwich with egg, bacon and cheese. I can’t tell you what coffee creation I drank but it was a Christmas Holiday one, and good to the last drop.
Our stop at Pure Coffee was definitely one of the best things bout being Rapid City! The vibe, the energy, the help and most of the coffee itself was amazing! Their signature drink the Cardigan was so unique and loved it!! My husband had the ice caramel latte and said it was Pure Bliss😍! Great job Pure Coffee! Next time we are in Rapid we will be back! 🤎🙌
I love visiting new coffee shops and I have to say that Pure Bean coffee was the best coffee I've had in a long time, we took the Cardigan latte which is a local special and a cortado and of course a regular cup of coffee with cream. My husband and I seriously wanted to turn around and go back for more! It was delicious 😋
Definitely high class coffee. Love that there's very little acidity in the coffee, making it more of what you would find all around Europe. You can also buy beans there or order online. Great vibe.
Pure Bean is one of my favorite coffee shops around the Black Hills! Having moved away, I make it a priority to stop whenever I'm in town, and it's my go-to whenever I need to crush some travel work out. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and phenomenal baristas!
Sitting at the counter for the first time after many visits, I have a new appreciation for what these baristas & servers do. Such a great latte, delicious food, and a nice vibe. Kudos to you!
It was pretty good. They had a lot of very unique options. The environment was very hipster friendly. I personally just wanted a normal cup of coffee. The drip coffee I got was kinda fruity and not really my style, but good. If you're into hipster coffee shops, you'll love this place.
Third wave coffee as it’s supposed to be! Since moving to Rapid City I’ve been moving through the local coffee shops trying them out. I have found several good ones that I will continue to visit, but I had not found any that I would classify as a proper third wave shop, until now that is. Pure Bean has an excellent style and vibe from the moment you walk in. The two baristas working demonstrated both excellent customer service as well as practiced skill in both the art of pour over as well as pouring a proper latte with good art. I am a fan and will be back.
