We got a breakfast burrito, avocado toast, and 2 coffees and all were delicious. Was a little pricey but it's clear they use good, fresh ingredients.

Great space with lots of seating, homemade food and proper baked goods! So happy to find this in Rapid City.

I do enjoy the food here but the temperature of the coffee is not up to par. Today I got my coffee and it tasted a bit above Luke warm. I asked the lady at the register if she could warm it up, she told me they don't do that, that the standard drink is 120 degrees. She said if I want a hot drink, I have to pay for another one. After ordering for a friend and a big breakfast, I was super disappointed to think to have hot coffee, I’d have to pay for another drink. The customer service not great…. Very matter of fact, not friendly.

It's a bit over the top for what I'm looking for in a coffee shop, but I've never had a bad coffee or bad food here! I like their avocado toast and sweet potato burritos. A great place to support local business!

Wife had the monti cristo, which had way too much cream cheese and no jam. The ham was hard and over cooked. Also, we wish it was fried like MC usually are. My sandwich was alright - Chipotle chicken. We are just passing through but wouldn't go again.

Closed on Monday despite Google saying open. I know folks are strapped but it only takes a minute to update your hours online and with Google. That’s helpful to grandpas trying to take their grandkids to breakfast on an out of town trip. I am sure the coffee’s great because my daughter has your mug.

Stopped in this unique and fun cafe on our way out of Rapid City. The barista at the counter who took our order was very friendly and patiently answered all of our questions about the menu. The menu included a wide range of coffee and breakfast items. I ordered a White Chocolate Latte and my date ordered an Irish Cream flavored Latte with coconut milk. Both drinks were very tasty. The milk alternative options are much appreciated as well. We both also ordered the Sausage and Cheese Burrito. The burritos were a nice size and could have been split between the two of us. The burrito was also served with a small side of salsa. The burrito was very good and filling. This cafe had a louder environment therefore it’s a great space to meet friends but maybe not a great study space.

If you are looking for a trendy spot to grab a cup of coffee, Harriet and Oak Coffee Shop is definitely worth checking out. The coffee is slightly above average, but the food menu and interior design are amazing. The menu offers a variety of delicious meals and snacks that are sure to please any palate. From sandwiches to salads and pastries, there is something for everyone. The pastries are a must try, and the breakfast plates often are mouthwateringly good. They also have a great selection of teas and other beverages to choose from. Whether you are looking for a quick breakfast or a leisurely lunch, Harriet and Oak has you covered. The interior design is a mix of rustic and modern elements, with wooden floors, exposed brick walls, and stylish furniture. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and catch up with friends or get some work done. The seating is comfortable and there is plenty of natural light, which adds to the overall ambiance. The place gets a special nod to design from the converted Volkswagen Bus sitting in the main area that sometimes you can sit inside. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the menu or the coffee. They take pride in their work and it shows in the quality of the food and drinks. That being said, the coffee is above the standard coffee shop, however not as good as some of the other local options. Overall, Harriet and Oak Coffee Shop is a great spot to visit for a tasty meal and a cozy atmosphere. Whether you are a local or just passing through, it is definitely fun to visit and grab something to eat. Just be prepared to stay a while - once you experience the charm and comfort of this coffee shop, you’ll want to sit and stay for a couple hours!

I want to like this place, but this is third time I've ordered from here and the third time I've been disappointed. Today I ordered the sweet potato burrito which was supposed to come with goat cheese and Sriracha aioli. There was only 1 bite of food with the cheese (a common problem I've found with the food here that lists cheese as an ingredient) and I was given salsa instead of aioli (this has also happened before with the same burrito). I ordered a croissant for my toddler which is supposed to be toasted with butter but it had no butter on it, and was more like the texture of a crouton than a croissant and she couldn't eat it. It's such a shame because everything sounds so good on the menu.

This is one of my all time favorite coffee shops in Rapid! Been going here for several years. Their food is good. Quinoa bowls are good or there chipotle sandwich are very good. Coffee is very good. This is real coffee! Not sweetened Starbucks with a oz of coffee and water. That being said if you like sweet coffee just ask and they can point you to the right drink. Staff is accommodating and nice. Love the environment. It can be loud during the busy parts in the day but I still love seeing people enjoy themselves. Volkswagen bus inside is one of my favorite things to look at. Back in the day they had seating in it. It was neat. Or you could take photos in it. They no longer do that as far as I know. My spot is usually up the stairs in the lounge area. And they always have good music playing.

Kind of expensive for not so flavorful food and a latte that is home quality. The food however is made with nice and fresh ingredients, with gluten free options. Good for fit people.

Clean coffee shop with plenty of space, lots of coffee choices, loose leaf tea, delicious looking bakery items, and diverse & healthy breakfast items. Ordered the Classic Açaí bowl and waffles with fruit & whipped cream. Waffles were deliciously spiced and had real maple syrup. Fruit is fresh and very tasty. There is seating upstairs that overlooks the main lower level. It is a bit loud when full of people. Has background music at a nice level. Because of the high ceiling and open space, sound carries, especially for the frother on the espresso machine.

Really nice vibe inside, and the selection is really good. The only problem I have isn't with the business itself as much as the customers. If you want a place to sit, you better claim that PRONTO, it's a cutthroat world we live in. Beyond seating, this is a great place for breakfast and coffee, and so far their pumpkin spice takes #2 best spot on my list of best pumpkin spice lattes in western SD.

Very good food and coffee. The atmosphere is very cool. Sort of a rustic industrial feel to the place. They have different coffee options than your standard shop. I had the maple brown sugar latte and my husband had the golden latte. They were both very good. The avocado toast was good, I'd recommend adding an egg or two. My husband had a breakfast bowl that was awesome.

Excellent cup of coffee. The maple brown sugar latte was a different and not too sweet. Excellent with almond milk. Lots of healthy options for food and a wonderful “hipster” vibe to the place. Glad I stopped here.

Harriet & Oak is a warm, attractive and stylish place with really good food. Front-person Ashley couldn't be nicer and more knowledgeable ... a great selection as the "face of the cafe". Unfortunately -- at least on our visit -- the restaurant required greater staffing and workflow changes. The lone cashier was additionally responsible for various tasks to help complete delivery of each order which slowed customer transaction processing considerably. The customer queue kept getting longer and time on the queue was excessive. I was surprised I did not see patrons walk out in frustration but would not be surprised if passersby opted out of coming in. A bit of a shame ... but an easy fix.

Favorite place for tea/coffee and breakfast in town! Seasonal menus are always awesome. Right now, I recommend the Golden Fog, if you like ginger!
