Found this place on a road trip to TR National Park and it was a gem! They had such great food, coffee, decorations, and gifts at the shop. It was in a cute home. It is worth a visit!

Ginny's Coffee shop in Phillip, SD, is a cozy little spot that brings back fond memories of my childhood. The aroma of freshly roasted Bad River Coffee (their brand) fills the air, and the quaint décor of the old house makes for a charming setting. The mercantile is a great touch too, with an array of items that keep you entertained while you enjoy your coffee. What sets Ginny's apart from other coffee shops is the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is always welcoming and happy to chat, and the regulars make you feel like part of the family. It's the kind of place where you can sit and relax, read a book, or catch up with friends. While Ginny's may not be the trendiest coffee shop out there, it's a reminder that sometimes the simple things in life are the best. The coffee is always hot and delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Plus, it's great to support a local business that takes pride in their product and values their customers. Overall, Ginny's Coffee shop is a great spot to grab a cup of coffee and unwind. It's a reminder of simpler times and small-town values that we often forget in our busy lives. So, if you're in the area, stop by Ginny's and experience it for yourself! Regenerate response

Haven't tasted a better Americano, and the price was less than I expected. The atmosphere is warm and rustic.

The servers were friendly, the coffee shop is also very cute. It's run out of an old Victorian home with a farmhouse aesthetic. The menu is large with a wide variety of coffees and teas. They have alternate milk options too. The breakfast menu is decent. Bagels, sandwiches, and burritos. For vegetarians there are a lot of cream cheese options for bagels. If you're vegan you can probably only have a bagel with no toppings.

Fabulous establishment very nicely decorated and filled with nice apparel, tchotchkes, and of course great coffee drinks hot and cold. I was looking for breakfast and was grateful they have a light menu of delicious options. My burrito was exactly what I wanted. Friendly staff makes it all worth while. I will stop here again and again when I’m in the area. Highly recommended!!

Chanced upon this place following a hankering for a mid-morning coffee on a drive to Pierre. The unassuming exterior belies a surprisingly spacious interior with a wealth of coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bakery options. Had a great couple of lattes and spent some time talking about the local area and fauna with our wait staff, Jenna and Meghan. On the return trip, we were craving a hot drink, and we decided to stop by Ginny's again for a hot cappucino and hot tea and have that bagel with cream cheese that we'd wanted the first trip around, but stayed away from. We chatted with Meghan and one of the owners who was in there as well. If you are looking for a coffee shop with great options, good coffee, some t-shirts/sweatshirts or gifts and friendly folk with a great idea of the community, you will not be disappointed. At least stop by fr the good coffee!

We couldn't believe how nice this place was and their coffee selection was spectacular with a really interesting location being in a house but feeling very authentic as a coffee shop. Really cool selection of other products as well. You should stop in on your way through Philip!
