We stopped here after flying into Rapid City. It was a great location because it was right on the way to all the sights we were headed to see like the Wind Cave and Custer State Park. The food was fantastic - we had the chicken and waffles, a burger, and the breakfast burrito; all excellent. We also tried one of the pecan cinnamon rolls, which was big enough for all 4 of us and delicious - and the cappuccino was amazing too. The owner was so friendly and helpful, great to chat with. She seemed to make most everything herself. I loved that she uses real dishes and cups. I'd recommend this place for a delicious meal as well as for great coffee, and also really enjoyed the atmosphere. There was local art, board games you could play, just a very open and community feel that was a great welcome to the area. Hope to return!

Hermosa Coffee House is a hidden gem in the South Dakota grasslands. Valena took great care of us as we wandered in on our way to Wind Cave NP. Got two breakfast burritos and two lattes and all were amazing. High quality coffee and great service.

We are staying at a nearby RV Park and decided to come here one morning and we are so glad we did! The food and drinks (coffee and a hot tea) were all excellent but what really stood out was the personal touches and the service. So accommodating! The oatmeal with the Cape Cod mixture is as so good and filling and their homemade cream cheese is so tasty! We may have to come over at least one more time before we leave!

I love that Hermosa has a great coffee shop! The lady (owner maybe) came out after I left to make sure I got everything I ordered. Everyone was very friendly.

Stopped at this cute coffee shop on our way to Rapid and super happy we did! Staff was kind and helpful. We got our breakfast and coffees the way we wanted and quick. Breakfast sandwich and burrito was excellent. We’ll be back! Oh and get the whipped cream- it’s homemade and worth it!😃

I came into town to visit with a dear friend of mine. Stopped at this little coffee shop. I had a homemade cinnamon roll that was so incredibly good. I had to get another for the following day. The coffee shop is so homey. Feels and smells like my grandma's kitchen. The owner is so thoughtful. It's obvious that she really cares about what she's bringing to her business, her community and her customers. When I come back into town, I'll most definitely be stopping in to get another homemade cinnamon roll.

Coffe houses don’t get any better than this. Great food, amazing coffee, and friendly people. Stop by and check it out. We live in town and make it a regular breakfast spot.
