Great food and fast service. Just very loud though in there.
Walked through this beautiful town and stopped to enjoy a burger and beer. We had our dog with us, she was welcomed by all, there is even a menu to accommodate her! Scott's paintings, pictures and guitars are a rare addition to the warm atmosphere. Burgers were excellent and reasonably priced. Mexican lager balanced, smooth flavor with a clean citris finish. Burgers were so yummy I forgot a picture.
FOOD: B LOCATION: A ATMOSPHERE: A SERVICE: B Decent lunch or dinner spot with pretty solid food and drink options. Not right on the strip so it didn't feel as touristy... which I liked. Charcuterie board was awesome.
Good food and service. It's a bit on the pricey side but about normal for Deadwood. Interesting and quirky decor.
Buffalo burger was very good. Service was great and the beer was fresh and cold.
Possibly the classiest joint in Deadwood. Outstanding staff, food and drinks. Highly recommended.
The atmosphere was very nice. Everyone was very friendly. My boyfriend and I stopped in for dinner. I had a cheeseburger and fries which was like $15. The burger patty wasn't very thick and it was super dry. They give you the toppings on the side and I received one small piece of lettuce, one squishy tomato and some pickles. I ordered it with pepper jack cheese but it came out with American. All in all, not worth the visit unless you're looking to have a drink. The service was nice so 3 stars instead of 2.
Jacobs Brewhouse has an amazing staff and a delicious menu. The atmosphere is casual with class. Highly recommend!
Beautiful building and decor, great beer, wonderful food! The staff was friendly and attentive. Scott Jacobs himself was extremely accommodating to us. This will be our new regular visit in Deadwood from now on!
Beautiful decor. Great service, food. beer
Best place I have eaten at in deadwood. Staff were very friendly and the food was awesome.
Waited over an hr for a burger and fish n chips , fish burnt, and greasy. Fries were luke warm. very disappointed.... won't be back and will not recommend
Good food and service, although I actually got a different meal than I ordered but I wasn't bothered as it was just as tasty!
I ended up eating both of my dinners in Deadwood at Jacob’s. Portions seemed small at first, but everything hit the spot without being too heavy. Kaylee was a wonderful bartender and made me feel like I could just chill and enjoy my meal and time. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and made great suggestions of things to see and try in town. After just 2 visits I felt like I’d been a regular here for a long time. The friendly atmosphere made it easy to talk to other guests and feel right at home. Also got to experience a kitchen cook off challenge they have during slower months. This was not only fun, but made for a wonderful meal. I can’t wait to take another trip to Deadwood to go get some more great food!
I have tried every restaurant in deadwood over the past year and this the best one hands down. Finally a place that doesn’t just serve steaks and potatoes. They have steak and potatoes too but other modern things also that are very good
If you’re lucky enough to visit Deadwood, you have to go to Jacobs Brewhouse. When you pass through the impressive front doors you are greeted with a visual feast. The care and attention to detail is completely unique. The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is great! What’s special is how it all comes together, it’s a memorable experience. The owner, cool, kind and humble.
Absolutely phenomenal food and atmosphere with great service. Pet friendly as well and a large selection of their own brews. Highly suggest this place and definitely by far the best food and atmosphere in Deadwood!
Super sad! I've frequented Jacob's regularly since it opened and have always loved it! However went in tonight and there was no music playing and the dining room was terribly cold. You could however hear the music from the kitchen along with their swearing and banging pans aroud. There was only one server I could see to wait tables and bartend and she had a horrible attitude. No host either. I waited forever before sitting at the bar and she had an attitude when I asked if music would be turned on. Even before that she acted like I was burdening her by being there. I'm so sad because I use to love this place and Mr. Jacobs is so cool as well! I had a bad dining experience the last time I was here a few months ago too. Please bring back the standards you had until recently. Can't charge fine dinning prices with bad customer service like today.
Stopped in for a burger and sampled a few of their beers, which I'd probably pass on in the future but would definitely eat there again
Jacobs Brewhouse is a must! We sat at the bar & the owner happened to be sitting next to us. The owner was a dummer in some very famous bands before opening this restaurant. He even gave us a tour around the place which also has a brewery. I recommend the elk which was fabulous and the service was outstanding (even after the owner left). This restaurant is a must try when in Deadwood. Skip the casino restaurants and dine here.
