From the drinks and snacks to the feline friends, this is hands down the best cat cafe I’ve ever been to. With an incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff, the atmosphere is as hospitable as it is fun. Whether you’re looking to adopt or just looking a chill spot to check out and relax this Is a must visit for tourist and locals alike.
Love this cat cafe! There's a front and back room with couches to sit and hang out with the kitties. They have all sorts of toys for the cats and board games for humans to play, too. In a separate room, they have seating to drink coffee and have some pastries like pop tarts, scones, and cookies. They carry iced or hot coffee with flavor and milk options, beer, and wine. Cute white tee shirts with the Mews and Brews logo and some cute earrings, tumblers, stickers, and decals for purchase.
Adopted my two newest babies from here. Cats had plenty of space to wander around and play. Staff was very knowledgeable about the cats. The adoption process was fast and easy. The cats all came microchipped, vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and came with a free vet visit and a free nail trim voucher. I was even sent with cute small cushions for the cat carriers. Entry fee for an hour was pretty cheap. Overall good place to go and play with some cats.
Mews is an awesome spot to grab a drink and something tasty to snack on while hanging out with a bunch of cool cats (and the humans are great, too!) A wonderful place for kitties to chill out and be pampered until they find their forever homes! I've been twice and love the whole idea of the cat cafe; Cait and her staff are a fantastic bunch, can't wait to go back!

Visited last month with my best friend and we're heading back in a few weeks. Totally worth the drive for our bestie days (45 min for each of us, it's basically halfway since we live opposite directions)! We've been to a different cat cafe before but the atmosphere here was just awesome, so home-y. Felt comfortable right away and then our baby Reeses adopted me haha. They were willing to hold her for a week so i could prepare and be home on my days off for the introduction to our other 2 cats. You can just feel that the owner/staff pours their hearts into this. They were trying to get to know you, even before talk about adoption. So even if you're not looking to adopt,it's a great place to chill and just enjoy kitty time ❤️ I'm happy to be able to support such a great business and hope there will be many many more happy endings for the sweet furballs. Btw, their sweet tea is soooooo good!!!
I love this place! The cats are adoptable, so you can bring one home if they choose you! I adopted this sweet kitty last week. The staff are kind and helpful, and the drinks/snacks are great.
The staff was amazing, it was easy to find, and it was hard not to go home with a cat! 10/10 experience
This cafe is set up perfectly to really get quality time with the cats. Every person of their staff was extremely friendly and helpful! They even helped me put together my travel carrier. They made our adoption experience easy and fun, and I can’t thank them or recommend them enough!
Been twice now and even brought family that was visiting from out of town. Always a great time and the cats are clearly happy and well taken care of. This is something Summerville needed to help with keeping as many cats out of shelters as possible. I plan to keep coming back frequently to meet the new cats and support this business so they can keep doing the amazing work they are!
First time going to a cat cafe. It was good, but there was only 4 cats. All hiding under a sofa. Only one would come out and let you pet him. I understand how cats are, but there was about 8 people in this one room. The staff were very nice and helpful though.
This place is adorable 🥰. The kitties, the staff and decor. Fun place to spend an afternoon or evening. We have been twice and we enjoyed the kitties and other people there.
My two grandsons and myself visited the cat cafe for the first time and we throughly enjoyed the experience. The staff were kind and friendly, and the cats were so cute and chill. There is something to be said about benefits of giving caresses of love and receiving unconditional love from an animal. Feeling a little stressed one day, stop by for a little cat therapy. 😼
who knew a cat cafe could attract so many karens? despite the few negative reviews, both the cats and the owner were lovely! fortunately we went at a slower hour so we got some quality time with all of the cats. the staff were so nice and were so accommodating to us and our million questions. 10/10 recommend :)!!
Amazing!! I’m so happy there’s a cat cafe here. The staff are absolutely amazing and passionate about the work they do, and on top of that, all the cats there are from Dorchester Paws, and they are all up for adoption! Cat cafes are a great way to keep cats less stressed while waiting for their forever homes, and for adopters to see a cat’s personality in more of a home environment, rather than a kennel.
Adorable local spot! Had a great visit and enjoyed visiting with the café cats. Looking forward to my next visit.
Prices need to be more upfront nothing on the website about the cost $12 per hour per person was very surprising We paid it and we’re told there were only 3 cats at the facility beforehand
My friends and I visited a few weeks after opening. Great spot, thrilled to have this so close to home! Very reasonable rate per hour, clean cafe and restrooms. The cat lounge is cozy and treats are supplied for you to give the cats when you arrive. I'll definitely be back to visit! 🐈
When Mews + Brews opened up just a couple minutes from my house, I was ecstatic! I have been many times now and have loved every second of it. They have been incredibly successful in getting cats into homes (YAY!) so every time I go, there are new furry friends to meet! 😻 The price includes a drink which is fantastic and I have paid the same price at other cat cafes without a drink included. Either way, it’s totally worth it. I was sad at first to see the age requirement, but that’s not uncommon for cat cafes (and it’s totally reasonable!) and it was clear to see the age requirement when I went to book a reservation and when I read the FAQ page. I was able to book a reservation at one of the events for kids under 12 and now everyone is happy! 💗 It’s an inclusive environment and I have felt right at home. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. The environment is so lovely being around cats and cat people and the cats are clearly living the life while they wait for adoption! And the place is incredibly clean! ✨
I loved visiting this adorable cat cafe! The coffee was really good and they had amazing looking pastries in the cafe as well. The kitties were so cute and my husband and I even ended up adopting one of the cats! She is the sweetest kitty. The adoption process was so easy too! Everyone was so nice and helpful during the process and we brought her home! She’s been with us for a few days now since Mews and Brews and she is fitting in just fine and making herself right at home! Thank you so much for what y’all are doing Mews and Brews!
