Saveurs du Monde Café Seabrook Island

While on vacation at Seabrook, the Saveurs du Monde Café has been the highlight of my stay. The employees are delightful--warm, outgoing & prompt. The environment is quaint with a French influence (of course!). The baked goods are beautifully presented, reasonably priced & absolutely delicious. I am a fan of the lemon-blueberry danish & an iced coffee. The menu offers a variety of options for everyone--breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. Gluten Free baked goods are available as well! This has been a most enjoyable experience. I wish the same for all the review readers--Give this place a try!

Excellent dinner experience! Food was fantastic, atmosphete very comfortable. Our host was extremely engaging. I hear it also serves a killer breakfast, which we will definitely try soon.

This great coffee shop is a hidden gem. Just outside of the Seabrook gate, is the best coffee place in the nearby area to grab a coffee and pastry. There baguette, pastries and coffee are all great, and the rest of the menus look very good even though we have yet to have the opportunity to enjoy.

Can't rave enough about this place. So many delicious breakfast options; we loved the quiche, the torsade (pastry), the breakfast croissant. Had the best cafe latte I have had in years; their coffee must be exceptional and not bitter at all. We also had dinner here and it was delicious; particularly the coq au vin. This restaurant is a great addition to the Seabrook area - there has been a need for a wonderful breakfast option and this place hits it out of the park.

I was pleasantly surprised! Their chai tea is so good. Can’t wait to try their other dishes next time. Most happy it’s near the condos we’re in. Customer service was great, friendly atmosphere and loved the decor. Haven’t tried their pastries but my smoke salmon panini was ON POINT!! 😋

We just discovered this place and, as locals, are very excited to have somewhere to go for high-quality food. The food is simple but always delicious. We've gone there for breakfast and lunch, both of which were delicious. The baguette sandwich was simple and delicious. The quiches are very good. We haven't had dinner yet so I can't say how that is.

This a true french bakery. The food is fantastic! We have been there almost every day of our vacation!

This is a wonderful French Cafe & bakery. Very relaxing vibe. Perfect for breakfast and lunch. Panini, gallette, croissant sandwiches. The baked goods and pastries are beautiful. Also, coffee is delicious. We will be returning twice a day! Also had some hand made Easter eggs of chocolate!

Many crepes are available. I got the lemon curd. Quite good. They also have pastries. I got a bluebery cheese danish, which was excellent. Brioches are on the menu, along with croissants and other items. The service was fine.

Went here for the first time today! Fell in love with the croissants. I think I’m going to try to come here every Sunday as a brunch outing. The people working there were super nice and friendly

I’ve left my small village of Denver, North Carolina and I’m visiting the even smaller village of Seabrook Island, South Carolina. First visit to Saveurs du Monde Cafe. The name stirs the imagination, but it is a fairly nondescript dining establishment with a walk up counter, and a display of very yummy looking pastries. My wife ordered the Quiche Lorraine. I ordered French Onion soup and the London Style Baguette which was roast beef, shaved Parmesan Reggiano, arugula, and homemade aioli. Our meal arrived with minimal wait. Now French Onion is served either with a nice layer of cheese or without in different establishments. I personally prefer with cheese but am fine either way. I could have been fine with the soup but it was almost cool, just a hint of warmth. I took it back to the counter and asked for hotter bowl. Returning back to my table, I dug into the baguette. I took a bite and knew right away I wasn’t going to finish it. I opened up the sandwich. It had a couple of small slices of the roast beef….I mean small. There was a generous portion of the Parmesan Reggiano, the arugula, and the aioli. The aioli completely overwhelmed the sandwich. No nuanced flavors at all. Far too many garlic cloves are used in this homemade recipe. This place does not have to worry about being visited by vampires, that is for sure. My wife said her quiche was ok. She’ll try something else if we come back. Visitors should know that this little café features a walk up counter where you order off of the menu. The food is served to your table, but there is a sign in the restaurant that you are to bus your own table. Also, this is one of those establishments that features a credit card processing tablet where you are welcome to add a tip. Now let me think: I walk up to the counter and give my order and take a seat. The food was brought to me, but I’m expected to bus my tables. And they think that maybe I should leave a tip? I did, but that is a habit I have to get out of doi

Baristas could use some more training. I’m not sure they know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte, but most people don’t either. The Croque croissant was alright, but nothing special. I don’t think they microwaved it long enough :/ We came right after Christmas and something was wrong with their walk-in, so I can’t really comment on the kitchen items. I’ll give it another try sometime.

Might or might give it a second chance this place. I was happy and let down, 1st upon entry no one greeted us at the stand and told us we order and have a seat. Food is plain, nothing unique or outstanding, ambiance is above average, atmosphere, well, I hate eating with tons of flies around and I can only imagine the kitchen, the health department would have a field day at this place. I can survive plain food and dining experience but not the unsanitary display. Oh, if the pastries will not be covered make sure the flies are all gone, the number of flies, staggering, its November 2022 not summer, yukk.

Delicious! Very French! A wonderful addition to the Seabrook-Kiawah dining options. A great place to take visitors for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

We couldn’t wait to try this during our most recent trip to Seabrook! Everything on the menu sounded (and looked) delicious when we stopped in. The crepe and brioche sandwich were perfect, along with our pastries. The eggs were so soft and fluffy. I couldn’t stop eating them! The service was fast and friendly, too - which is always a plus! Excited to have them on Seabrook! We will definitely be back!

Friendly wait staff. Good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Don't like having to clear my table when I'm finished with my meal. Sometimes the tables and seats aren't clean.
