We were at Baker's Sweets 4 years ago, visiting from Iowa and tried the shrimp and grits which was really great. We have talked about them ever since. We are visiting Lake City again and had to have them again. Just as wonderful as we rememberd! The space is lovely and the staff were friendly and always checking on us. We love Baker's Sweets!

I had lunch with friends at the Lake City location. I was so disappointed, my potato wasn't soup, just loaded with cheese which I love but no creamy broth, just cheese and chunks of potatoes. My club sandwich was just plain and tasteless not what I have experienced before. This was tough because I was the one who talked the group into going there. Bakers is a wonderful place to eat and get excellent sweets. This was just an off day.

A delightful cafe with something for everyone!! Coffee and sandwiches to take-home chicken pot pies! Plenty of seating with a quaint atmosphere nested between the Green and main street! We visited for 2023 Artfields and kept finding our way back to Bakers and Sweets!

See photo of alleged bacon melt on french bread. It's a turkey sandwich without bacon, on a hotdog bun. Yikes.

My dad purchased me a birthday cake from this place & it was worth every penny. Absolutely delicious. It was the 6 layer yellow cake with the most perfect chocolate icing! 13/10!

I was suppose to have a pattie melt but ended up with a cheeseburger. For the price I paid I expected better food then this. The cheese danish was good and that's why you got 3 stars

The grits are not even edible, completely disgusting. The coffee is good and pancakes but the grits were old tasting and tons of chunks in them and bacon tasted like it was microwaved. Not good at all.
