Stopped in while in town and Mountain Goat didn’t disappoint. Plenty of seating which is always great for coffee shops and fairly rare unfortunately. If you are a merch junkie they have you set here. Also plenty of stickers to choose from. My wife and I got a Mocha and a Vanilla Latte, both of which were solid and on par with our expectations. The staff were friendly and quick with making our orders. While I have no plans of being in Greenville regularly I can say I’d be up for coming back to Mountain Goat for another coffee stop.

I had a great experience there with my parents and daughter. Just wanted to say they have great customer service. The ladies up front were super sweet and friendly! The place is laid-back and calming. They have high chairs for little ones that have an attached tray for them to eat from. Looking forward to going back!
i LOVE the Mountain goat. One of my favorite coffee shops! They have the coziest atmosphere and delicious drinks and waffles. The only complaint i would have is that there aren’t enough outlets for chargers etc in the seating area, the only options for outlet accessible seats are at the bar seats.

This space has a great vision of community development and impact and it uses a coffee shop to provide for it means. Definitely a place that you are comfortable to meet and make new friends. And the waffles amazing.
One of my favorite places to stop for a coffee and waffle before a long work day. Their liege waffles are amazing, and they always have creative and beautiful beverages. Staff here is always super welcoming and the vibe is 👌. 100% of their profits support at-risk youth. Not every day you find a non-profit business like this. You won't regret supporting them!

Great find in Sans Souci area of Greenville. Coffee, tea, parfait, and waffles on this day. Waffles were outstanding. Highly recommend. Also this is a nonprofit and all proceeds go to helping local children in need with bike repair and hikes and adventure. Check it out. Recommend for sure.
My wife and I visited while heading out of town for a hike. It was a kind of spur of the moment detour and we weren't sure what to expect. We genuinely love the idea and what they are trying to accomplish but the service was just bad, like, not even a hello when we greeted the baristas bad. Perhaps it was new staff but even the coffee was not good. We really wanted to like it since the mission statement is great and the owners sound like they have a heart for others less fortunate. I am just hoping we caught them on an off day because everyone else leaves great reviews.
Great coffee and great people with an even greater mission. I love all the coffee spots in Greenville but Mountain Goat is my favorite.

The coffee at Mountain Goat is really good. The beans are roasted fresh, and they always have a great selection of drinks. The staff is really friendly and knowledgeable, and they always make sure that you're taken care of.
Such a great spot! The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the coffee was amazing! I was In town for a while recording and hit up many coffee spots during my visit but this one was easily the best. Will make it a point to come here again!
