I recommend the vanilla latte. Service is great and the food (blueberry scones) are delicious.
Bridge City has been very successful. The coffee here is some of the best around, roasted by them. We travel extensively and love coffee. Today my wife and I enjoyed a cup here and my wife expressed that her coffee was the best she's had, only second to Cambodia's Brown Coffee! They even have merch. Recently they expanded their seating as well.
The coffee was excellent, however, the service was a bit snobby for my taste.
Cutest coffee shop! The owner was the barista and made a wonderful cappuccino for me! Decor was lovely and it would be a great place to have a coffee with friends!
Great coffee and atmosphere! Very friendly folks there too.
Always a relaxed, chill, welcoming vibe Vanilla lattes are also amazing Thank you BCC!
From a standard cup of coffee (drip), a traditional latte, or one of their seasonal drinks they have a pick-me-up for everyone. Their lattes (traditional & seasonal) are by far my favorite but I've also never had a bad drink from them. The drive-thru line can get a bit long with a long wait on the weekends, but also speaks volumes to how good their drinks are. They also have a small selection of pastries (donuts, pop tarts, etc.) from local vendors which compliment their coffee/lattes well!
Great little coffee shop. Happy to support local. Beans were fresh.
Disappointing! Bought Nostalgia coffee which is supposed to be a dark roast but it definitely Wasn't. It was a light roast that tastes like drinking a slightly citrus flavored water. No caramel, nutty notes like it describes. I've never seen such a light roast that's supposed to be medium to dark in any coffee roaster I've been to and I've been to over 15. It was already overpriced (typical prices for a 1lb not 12 oz) but was in the area and needed coffee beans and wanted a good, dark roast but it was a waste of money. As you can see in the pic on right side next to a dark roast I had to purchase after I bought theirs. The girl at the counter was nice but I won't be back.
My visit to this coffee shop was mainly to try their famous Scout's doughnut, but I found it to be just okay and somewhat overhyped. I guess I'm not a fan of cronuts, but I don't want to knock the coffee shop for something they didn't make themselves. On the bright side, the coffee was excellent and skillfully brewed, which was a redeeming quality of my visit.
Loved my iced mocha and the atmosphere! Excellent coffee quality. Very friendly staff. Will be going back!
Great atmosphere, even greater coffee.
Nice little coffee shop. Inside are 1 about 12 tables to suit and 5 outside. Above was good, coffee taste divide and snacks were fresh. Not a fan of the atmosphere, basic seating, all open and not private and can get overly packed do to Bob Jones. Recommend a try if you love coffee shops, no real complaints. - No drive-through - not recommended for small children - They are expanding the seating in the coming weeks that should help
Its a hip place to visit.. I loved the atmosphere with the jazz playing in the background and alot of conversations around you..Its not a big place but they are extending their seating capacity...my friends say their latte's are the thing to get! Im not a coffee or latte person but enjoyed being there...They have a spot in Traveler's Rest SC also..😊
I have really enjoyed each time I visited Bridge City. I always get a batch brew coffee and it is very good. The staff is always friendly. Their lattes are beautiful. It can get very busy/crowded but it’s a nice little spot to sit at for a little bit.
They probably have the best coffee around! I definitely mark this place above Methodical and Spill The Beans any day. I enjoy the calm yet social environment and their iced vanilla latte.
My husband and I tried this place out on a rainy Thursday morning. It was pretty busy. First off, the guy at the counter was not friendly or welcoming even after we told him it was our first time there. He offered no suggestions but took our order. The girl making my latte was very friendly and welcoming. The vanilla latte was too sweet and based on the color and taste I think it's because the espresso was too weak. It was not very hot. Beautiful latte art though. I drank about 1/4 of it at most. My husband had the drip coffee and very much enjoyed it. It was quite loud inside so we didn't stick around to hang out after he finished his coffee.
Update: I’m saddened by the response from the owner. To say that you stand by the character of all of your employees is invalidating the negative experiences I’ve had. You’re telling me that I shouldn’t write a negative review publicly, but maybe you should talk to some of your employees about not treating the public negatively. I have gone here ever since this coffee shop has been established. It used to be consistently amazing and the workers were so kind. Now, I believe workers are most definitely NOT being hired based on merit, abilities, or character. I would say my order is made correctly about 1/4 of the time now. I kid you not, sometimes the milk you request is wrong! That is a safety hazard. A friend I brought with me could have had an anaphylactic reaction because they forgot to make hers with the right milk. Only because I asked before she drank it was she safe. And I usually get a bad attitude with my wrong orders too!! I have tried to give you guys a chance because I used to be a hardcore Bridge city lover. But I’m going to have to start going to methodical where I know my drink will be made right.
Cute little coffee spot with a cool vibe and great music. Staff is really nice and the coffee is good, too.
Cozy coffee shop with delicious nitro. Seasonal special tasted like Christmas cheer.
