Google said Best Sunday Brunch in Georgetown! If so, there must be 2 of em, and we went to the bad one!..... So we arrive at 11 am today. Greeter sat us, and waitress came up and says...."kitchen is shut down for the next 20 minutes"...odd for the best brunch in G'town, but we're easy. So we go take a walk....on our way out, two couples were walking in, so I held the door for them. We return 20 minutes later, get seated, and same waitress comes up and says...."kitchen shut down for 15 minutes".... Ok, well can we get a coke and a sweet tea? Sure....so after coming back to ask what that second drink was, she returns with drinks...still can't order. So we look around, and everyone in the place is eating... Including the 2 couples I held the door for!? WTH? The waitress sees that we noticed, and says to another waitress, "oh, we can take orders now?"....then disappears.... We're easy, but we're not gonna be the back-of-house joke of the day....waitress doesn't return..(You can't make this stuff up). So we walk up to the desk...very kindly and quietly say we're gonna just head on out....her response. "That's $9.86 for the bottle of coke and glass of sweet tea". ..I never said a word..... It would've been pointless... These kids are TRYING to let you know they don't care. Ripleys isn't this strange. I wouldn't eat there if it was free. And I'm sure going to spread that word ....often....I'm gonna tell that true story over and over....and to everyone that comes to visit us as we drive them down Front Street....... We're 63. We're really quiet and polite. That was in the top 3 of bad restaurant experiences ever. (Did I break up with this Girls' Mom in High School?) They're Not friendly, not polite.. ..have no idea about the food, we tried for an hour without any luck with that part.

Service here is friendly, personable, and prompt. The food was delicious and the portions were an excellent size. The $2.00 plate sharing fee is no problemo for us; we hate wasting food so we’d rather share plates and order more food if we need it. I can’t say enough things about this cafe. This will definitely be our “Go To” spot for breakfast when we visit Georgetown.

Cool little place across the street from the water. Would have never known it was there until you make the right turn north bound on hwy 17 in G-town

I'm trying to figure out the reason for the rave reviews I see. Went there for breakfast this morning. My husband got scrambled eggs, a waffle, and ham. The ham was 3 round slices about 2 inches max in diameter (like silver dollar pancakes) and thin as slices of deli meat. Eggs were somewhat over cooked and had black specs in, perhaps the grill. I got one pancake- very dense and heavy and not very tasty...again with black from the grill. Had to ask for butter and noticed everyone around me also had to ask for butter. Trying to cut costs? I would not go back, especially with other options available. The best thing about it was the server, who was quite nice.

Oh My Goodness. This is THE BEST breakfast place in Georgetown in my opinion. When I come home, this is always where I want to eat. The pancakes, the coffee, the omelets, the service, the cleanliness. It's as close to perfect as possible. I'm so thankful my sister introduced me to this place.

Traveling through Georgetown on vacation and got lucky finding this quaint little cafe. Bacon was delicious and the grits were some of the best I’ve ever tasted, which is saying a lot since I’m from Tennessee! Rocky Top!

Very disappointed. Service was bad and the breakfast was worse. The sausage was unidentifiable and I still don't know if it was even real meat.

My friend and I enjoyed our visit to Coffe Break Cafe. We each ordered the Turkey, Brie. Apple wrap, which was delicious. The homemade potato salad was wonderful. Our waitress was a sweet young lady who was very attentive to us. I only wish I had saved room for one of the homemade cinnamon buns. We can't wait to visit again!

We needed a quiet place to decompress before a funeral....this place is awesome, quiet, and dog friendly....it was the holy trifecta when we needed it. Lattes and breakfast items were wonderful!

Best breakfast in Georgetown. I go there everytime I am in town. Grits and omelets are amazing. Also do yourself a favor and get a cinnamon roll. Service is amazing and a great atmosphere.
