My boyfriend and I needed our dose of caffeine in the morning and we discovered this coffee shop on a street corner. The woman at the register was very sweet, the coffees we ordered were as expected. However, I bought 4-5 pins that were priced $7.99-9.99 each. After we went to the car, my boyfriend decided he wanted one as well. We went back in and as he was searching through the pins to find the one he wanted, this woman who seemed to be the owner or higher-up, accused him of stealing a pin. He placed my debit card into his pocket and she demanded removal of all items in his pockets because she thought he put a pin in his pocket. Her phone was out ready to dial an emergency number or something, and even after seeing he had nothing in his pockets she just stared at him and didn’t even apologize for the accusation. This was after we just bought her merchandise too. To say the least it was a very uncomfortable and rude experience as a paying customer. If you go here, don’t have your eyes on any merch if you don’t want to be accused of stealing it I guess.
Stopped in to get a pastry to go. It was hard and not edible. It definitely wasn't fresh.
Always a yummy treat even after a slice of pizza 🍕 from Slice :))
Such a nice little coffee shop with great service and even better coffee!!! They only do espresso but it is well worth it!! Awesome pastries and friendly staff who take their craft seriously.
The line loops around from the inside of the store to the outside during peak hours. Their coffee is delicious with huge pastries available. I loved their decoration and informative menu of how each coffee ratio applies for the drinks.
Good chai latte. The pastries looked amazing, but were costly. The coffee machines were broken, so we couldn’t try any coffee.
Tiny place with great coffee and food!
It's a coffee place that doesn't have actual brewed drip coffee. I ordered two coffees and a muffin and it came to $17. I noticed the register showed americanos instead and pointed it out to correct to coffee. At that point, was told they don't have coffee. Seems very odd.
Cool little place. Staff was very helpful!
I think we visited this shop or the attached frozen yogurt shop every day during our week in Folly.
I almost wanted to knock a star because there is no drip coffee. (And they sell coffee beans there, and it doesn’t make that much sense to me) but my husband got an Americano and it was one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. (And I drink a lot of coffee! 🤪) I got the Turkish coffee because it seemed unusual and sounded interesting! It was also very good and creamy/smooth. But it’s strong, so just beware of that, and since the grinds stay in the cup, you pretty much toss the last 1/4 of the coffee. We didn’t have any pastries though they looked yummy and were huge!
Always a line at this place, but for good reason. Best coffee at Folly Beach and they have new special coffees every once and awhile. They also have very good pastries and cookies, highly suggest walking here for your morning coffee.
I popped in quickly and cannot speak for much except to say I had an iced Baclava latte off the in-house recipe board and it was delicious!! I appreciated the compostable cup and that the credit card surcharge was clearly posted.
Cool little spot. Really great latte, good overall coffee selection (to include Turkish coffee) and some really good looking baked goods. Definitely worth checking out
Cute shop with really good coffee! Pastries are fresh and really good portions. You will not regret visiting this shop if you’re looking for a little coffee pick me up or a quick bite before visiting the beach! 10/10 recommend!
Extremely overpriced. $6.50 per pastry with an added 3.5% charge just for using a credit card. Oh and they do not have an actual espresso machine. Save your money and disappointment.
Very average. Service was good and it was a cute cafe, but definitely overpriced for what I got. My cold brew tasted funky and the green tea was average.
You're at the beach. Limited choices. This coffee shop co-located with ice cream shop is what you should expect to find at the beach along with higher prices. Coffee was good. Limited seating but super convenient in Folly.
I recommend the iced Banana Mocha, it was freaking awesome. The barista there was a nice guy and handled the line well. He was a 1 man army holding it down with a chill attitude. Coffee is fair price and pasties are big, don't let other reviews scare you and go chill on the beach after your visit.
Meh, past experiences here have been lukewarm in terms of quality, and seriously, $8 for a croissant? Just now arrived at 7:05 am otw to surfing and was told "it's going to be a while until we open" - umm OK, peace 🤙.
