I’m visiting from Maine and as a vegan I’ve had a really hard time finding a place that’ll actually serve you fresh vegetables (and not just ultra processed meat and pastry alternatives.) This is the first place I’ve found something to eat that felt good in my body this whole trip. Ultra welcoming atmosphere and the owner was lovely to chat with!

Such a sweet place to grab a cup of coffee downtown! Stephanie is the best and she will take great care of you! Not mention the coffee and baked goods are amazing! So many options for gluten free, dairy free, and keto friendly! It's a must stop location in 5 points!

The cafe is so welcoming and the owner is incredibly accommodating. We enjoyed our gf bagels with vegan cream cheese!
Best cafe in the carolinas. Everything here is amazing. The owner is very talented. I highly recommend this place. If you have dietary restrictions, this is your place. The owner can make any dish taste amazing, even without gluten/dairy/etc. I can't say enough good things. Check this place out! Yumm
5 stars is not enough… this place and the owner Stephanie are incredible!! There is no up charge for gluten free, dairy free, or vegan goods in the shop and EVERYTHING is delicious! If you haven’t found this hidden gem yet this is your sign to go.
Stephanie is always so welcoming, I look forward to picking out my coffee cup and relaxing on her very comfy couch. She always welcomes my fur baby in and offers water and a treat! Definitely a great place to hang out with friends.

Most wonderful place I’ve experienced in Columbia, between gluten-free options and expertise and the wonderful Ms. Stephanie, you can’t ask for a better coffee shop and cafe. I was absolutely blown away! We will be back for those gluten-free biscuits and gravy! Thank you for creating this beautiful space.

This has become my new favorite spot in Columbia. The atmosphere is so neat and the people who work there are so kind and helpful. Every time I'm in there there staff are having intentional conversations either with each other or with the customers. The food is slightly pricey but in my opinion it is worth it--hands down one of the best cafés in Columbia.
Best gluten free desserts i was pleasantly surprised most gluten free desserts are bland but these were awesome the muffin was so moist and flavorful.
This is the best place in town to get gluten-free pastries and desserts - these taste as good as anything you've had with gluten, it is not the disappointing"cardboard" type one sometimes finds elsewhere. Although the selection changes day to day, there are usually a few options each of gluten-free, vegan and paleo. They also have brunch options at certain times and days. The owner makes everything herself and does some catering, so if there is something special you are looking for, let her know. Of course they also have espresso style coffee. Parking can be a little challenging and is metered, so bring your quarters and your patience if you are driving, or try the less busy times. The hours have changed from the previous location. so please check the new days and hours so you won't be disappointed.
The Local Buzz. Locally owned. Great variety of coffee, cookies, food, and more. If you want good coffee or just a nice local place, stop by The Local Buzz. Customer service is great, and the owner is amazing. five stars
I love The Local Buzz. I am so happy it is open again. She has made outstanding COVID accommodations and not lost a bit of the homey feel.
Was looking for gluten free brownies that were a special request for a wedding and found them here. Not only did we end up with gluten free, they also offered a keto version! All the brownies received amazing compliments because they were delicious! The owner even went the extra mile and decorated the brownies to the match the bride’s skull “cake topper”. Highly recommended this bakery!

This morning I had a little time before a haircut and decided to take my little’s here for a muffin and get the rare treat of a coffee for myself. It is so nice to find a place that will let my kids be kids in a coffee shop! The Chai Tea Latte is one of the best I’ve had and my children devoured a delicious muffin. I will certainly be back!
