Good desserts however it can be quite pricey.
Went in for a treat because it was my daughter’s 3rd birthday. The waitress and manager were so hospitable and brought a treat with a candle in it. Then they brought my daughter a ballon. Then she let the balloon go to the ceiling. They brought us another balloon. Really good people and service. We had banana pudding milkshake, cookie pie and coffee. It was all delicious.
This is my favorite go to spot whenever I need a sweet treat. They have amazing cake, cobbers and pies those are the only things I've tried and the red velvet is my favorite. My only complaint is the consistency of the size cake that they slice. They hand slice them when you order which is great but sometimes you get a nice size for the price that's worth it and then other times you don't. I don't know if they need to buy cake slicer and do an imprint so they can cut even slices that's my only complaint because I hate when I'm getting a little thin slice that may be worth $3 versus what I'm paying.

I was very disappointed in the peaches and cream cake that I ordered from Kaminsky’s in Columbia. The website described the cake as a “2 layer white cake, peach compote and cream cheese mousse filling, cream cheese buttercream and topper with peach compote”. While it was a 2 layer white cake with peach compote between the 2 layers, it was missing the cream cheese mousse, the buttercream was extremely sweet (not sure there was any cream cheese in it), and there was no topper with peach compote…it was all buttercream with some diced peaches sprinkled around the top of the cake. It looked nothing like the cake on the website. Very disappointed…I expected more for $64.00. ☹️
As far as desserts go, it was good. They said they have constantly changing cakes and such and it was annoying that they had a menu but to see those changing flavors you had to go to their display case at the front to see what they offered. We got the red velvet cake and the brownie sundae. The cake was dense but moist and the frosting was light bur didn't seem like cream cheese frosting, more like buttercream with a little cream cheese. The brownie sundae, the brownie was great, the icecream was said to be vanilla bean but I didn't have a single vanilla spec in it and just tasted like grocery store icecream. Overall good. Nice environment but we only saw the waitress when we ordered and got the check.
Perfect place to have an adult drink and something sweet.
The desserts and coffee was absolutely delicious! Our server was very friendly and nice! Nice little spot to get a nightcap before heading home after dinner or a night out.
After dinner we wanted something sweet. I wanted cake and my husband and son wanted ice cream so where else would we go...KAMINSKY'S! Located Downtown Columbia in the Vista. All your sweet tooth needs. From Mocktails to Signature Cocktails. A great variety of Coffee Drinks, Cake Slices, Milkshakes, Martinis, and Floats.
The Peach Cobbler is amazing. This one of our favorite locations for dessert. Highly recommend sitting at the bar and enjoying this wonderful delicious dessert.
So much was bad about our experience here that I’m not even going to waste my time writing a full review. To keep it short: terrible customer service, unreasonably long wait times, mediocre dessert, and wildly expensive considering all the above. We both felt very frustrated while there and by the time we left were just angry. Saw multiple other couples and groups feeling the same way. Would not even consider going back - waste of time and money.
They have the BEST bar staff! We went last night and the two girls working the bar went above and beyond. Doesn’t hurt that desserts are also to die for.
So many choices! A little pricey, but each of us got a different dessert and all the were great. The coffee was a bit bitter, but otherwise we enjoyed it all very much.
My sisternlaw and I had dessert from here after dinner. The red velvet cake was delicious!!! I will be returning!!!
Great cakes that has a unique taste .......i highly recommend them if you have guest in town and want to take them out gor treats.....if you order a whole cake just make sure the words are spelled correctly like Congrats is nit spelled Cograts.....not sure how they would compensate me for that err

Ordered Via Uber Eats, First Time Trying This I'm Usually Scared Trying New Things And I Can Say It Was Pretty Delicious, I Tried The New York Style Cheesecake, The Butterfinger Milkshake And Red Velvet Cake , Only Two Things I Would Change Wish I Could Make The Milkshake A Large (Because It Was Super Good Lol) & The Cake Was Thick Which Is Good But Wish It Was A Little Bit More Moist 10/10 Will Be Ordering Again ♥️
I went there recently for the first time, looking for some good ice cream spots around Columbia. I ordered the birthday cake milkshake, it was good. I definitely am coming back again.
The desserts are always great. They even have a rotating lineup of cakes. Apparently, they stock new cakes like every hour, so you are always trying something different. I tried the cookie dough cheesecake and it was amazing. Also, the creamsicle milkshake was great! A little strong, but great. We were seated quickly, and our waitress was quick and caring.
Third time visiting and unfortunately our last. Smelled like a gym, again, when we walked in. Cake was eh and drinks the same. Wish it was better.
