Second time I’ve tried to come here and they’re closed during posted hours.

Depends on what time you pick up, the bread always freshly baked.

The craftsmanship of their bread is initially apparent in the smell and appearance. The taste of all their offerings is a delight. Crust is a true gem in the Rosewood/Shandon neighborhood.

Crust has changed a lot over the years especially since its new owner took charge and unfortunately I find their bread very lackluster. The person who stands at the front is trained very poorly - they seem to know next to nothing about the ingredients or dietary friendliness of different items. They don't have very many vegan friendly breads or treats. The desserts are good. I used to go in once a week but now almost never because I'm most often disappointed. Sad, they used to be my absolute favorite.

Bread is good. But I really wish you guys would make some breakfast sandwiches. Nobody else on rosewood makes them, except for Starbucks now, so now you gotta compete w those a holes. You know, eggs, cheese, chives, and put it on that awesome bread you guys have. Grill the bread w some butter, etc. Just do it lol. Experiment. Try it out for a week.

Best pastries in town!!! Try the chocolate chip scone and the pecan financier. And the petit fours are WORTH IT. Plus, the staff is so incredibly friendly!!

Best bakery in Columbia, never had anything bad here! My personal favorites are the cheddar black pepper sourdough and challah, but really everything is amazing! The pastries are to die for as well. And the owner is a great person, really can't recommend this place enough.

Crust is absolutely AWESOME!!! Their bakery items are worth the time it takes for you to drive or walk there. Please add CRUST to your shopping 🛒 list. The Owner is super cool and has a great attitude. Even though he’s busy, he will stop and chat with you. Whatever you do, YOU HAVE TO ADD CRUST BAKEHOUSE to your stops for awesome treats!!!

Best bread you can buy in Columbia! Great pastries as well. Buy a discount loaf for Oliver Gospel while you are there. Hours are weird, but whatever, I’ll make it work.

Best bakehouse in Columbia for affordable bread and sweets (that aren't too sweet which is awesome), we love freezing the bread and popping it in the toaster as needed, never getting store bought stuff again🙏

Second attempt at visiting this shop. Tried coming around a month or so ago in the mid morning and the sign on the door said they were closed for maintenance that day. Came today looking for a plain loaf of some sort of white bread. I arrived at 2:45p (they close at 3:30pm) and there were literally 2 loaves of bread left. One rye and one multigrain. They had some frozen options, like ciabatta, but I was looking more for something like their sourdough which was not available. I understand that I was coming towards the end of the day but twice now I’ve walked away with nothing from this store. Will not be making a third attempt.
