Everybody is so friendly here! The food is phenomenal and so tasty you have to try it if you’re in COLA!!
The fruit the restaurant said "they cut fresh every day" was growing mold. Absolutely disgusting.
Bagels as always good, but no attention to detail when ordering : Bacon added to bagel…forgotten Butter on side….spread on the bagel
Been going there even since I was a freshman in college. Affordable bagels that taste great too. Staff is very friendly and quick service too.
I don’t know why I continue to go here. The customer service is the epitome of mediocre and, while the food is solid, takes forever. Today, I ordered a muffin with my bagel and the cashier asked if I wanted it then or with the rest of my food and I told him I’d wait for all of my food. I got home before realizing it wasn’t in the bag. You’d think they would put on the ticket that I’d not received it yet. Anyway, it all seems very unorganized and the staff seems cold.
Delicious breakfast! I love the jalapeño and everything bagel with sausage egg and cheese!
Chicken, goat cheese, cranberry salad - added black olives (removed nuts), side of pasta salad and the homemade Cilantro Lime Dressing is SO gooood! (Their Ranch is good, also.)
My go to place to get a quick breakfast that has fresh bagels. You will not find a better bagel in town.
Bagel was ok but selection was limited.. no garlic. The egg was microwaved, and the cheese was processed American and not melted.
The employees are very kind and helpful, although the general vibe in the shop radiates not very happy employees. Although the food is good, the management is terrible. I had a very unprofessional experience yesterday with their manager regarding a delivery order for a meeting of about 10 people, and will not order from them again in the future if I can at all help it.
Seriously this is a coffee shop? The ice was in a dirty cooler on the floor. The coffee taste like water down dirt… can’t believe I even had them remake it only to toss out!

I love Carolina Cafe’s food and atmosphere but their ridiculous wait is not worth it. I totally understand being swamped with people coming in the door but I placed an online order at 7:45am for pickup at 9am. It is 9:45 and I am still waiting. This is insane. Not worth the wait.
Love the food, but their ordering options during the weekends are so cumbersome we've relegated to other local options. Waiting in line is notoriously long. Calling in a pick up is impossible at certain hours. Online ordering is advertised on their website, but actually unavailable once you get ready to checkout. Complaining about management, not the employees!

I wish I took a picture of my bagel. It was just a plain bagel, toasted, with extra cream cheese. That’s it. Simple, easy. However…I’m a Jersey Girl who worked in NY City for 18 years. I live in Atlanta. The south tends to serve round bread and call them bagels. Since I was traveling I thought I’d search great bagels. Carolina Cafe came up first and with loads of amazing pictures I thought I’d walk over. It was well worth it and what an amazing surprise!!! Outstanding bagels!! They looked and tasted just like their fab NY City counterparts. I couldn’t believe it!! I sat outside and savored my bagel. Loved the location too. Try this place. It won’t let you down.
