5 glowing stars! And I mean glowing! Our visit was during the 2023 Brown graduation and the drive from Providence is well worth it! It was busy when we visited on our picture-perfect sunny Saturday morning, yet we had a choice of seating that is well placed throughout the grounds. Friendly staff upon arrival and the owners were spotted on our visit and involved in the details of what looked to be a bustling Saturday. After our delectable cafe breakfast which started off with tasty bakery goods ;) we visited the exquisite shop with a tasteful variety of wares and also the nursery. If we had not had such an early start planned for the Sunday graduation day....we would have gone back to Groundswell for another go...and to-go some of those pastries as well! Such a pleasant and satisfying experience all around. An easy and well-earned highly recommend!

I love this place! Great food, nice staff and beautiful surroundings. Even on a busy day you can still find a place to sit.

Delicious turkey panini! Ham and rosemary scone! Mother's day stroll through Tiverton Four Corners. Outside casual dining, and all the shops. Dessert was delectable! Try the teacakes!

Cute cafe with plenty of outdoor seating and dedicated parking. They may need to consider adding more umbrellas as a lot of tables are in the sun and cannot be used on hot days. Friendly staff and efficient service. House blend coffee was just okay but everyone in our party enjoyed the food (we got 4 different sandwiches and quiche).

Laptop free environment. The staff is very proud of it. Food is good but overpriced. I was told to go elsewhere. I will and never return.

From the parking lot area to the indoors is delightful! This place brings their A-game to every finishing touch. Employees must be hired on their friendly dispositions because they're outstanding. If you've ever wondered what an exquisite croissant tastes like, this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed!

I love it here. The coffee and treats are superb. We were lucky enough to grab an Earl Grey Croissant. Absolutely heavenly. The ambience is spectacular so clean and beautiful. A great place to grab food or a coffee.

Very nice, but a little pricey for what you get.

Beautifully designed and excellent pastries. Love everything about it except for two things: 1.) they try to control the things you can do there. Like using electronic devices. This takes away from the feeling of the coffee house. Maybe it is an effort to increase profits. Not sure. It’s a charming experience but we can’t deny the time in which we live. 2: much too expensive. . :$12.50 for tea and pastry. Never have seen $7 pastry before. Their prices are more than double any other coffee shop. Maybe a way to make sure only the rich people of little Compton can attend. You wouldn’t have wanted to have any riffraff around they can’t spend nearly $13 for tea and a pastry.

I absolutely enjoyed my time visiting the stores and stopping by the cafe. I had one of the best vanilla lattes and a ham and cheese croissant. I sat outside on the porch and enjoyed my light lunch, but they also had seating indoors as well as a garden area with Adirondack chairs and fire pits. I'll definitely visit again.

Great food, drinks, and service here. This small bakery/cafe is a nice spot to have a tea/coffee and a sandwich/salad. Every food item I have had from here has been delicious and the staff are always super friendly and efficient. I wish there was a bit more space inside.

Shi shi bakery. They're are in most of the square there and have some unique gift offerings. Wonderful for a special gift. Be mindful, if you're white with money, or just money in the 250,000 plus you can visit often. Not in that bracket? Them make it a special treat.

I have been a frequent customer of this coffee/cafe since it opened. Mostly getting coffee to go but sometimes sitting down and reading. Yesterday I bought a coffee and sandwich ($16+) and sat down and began to read. The manager walked over to me and told me their policy is no use of electronics allowed. I was reading on my iPad; I said I was reading a book. But was firmly told that was not allowed. I said I would finish the chapter but the manager just stared at me from across the room. I felt bullied so I left. I have thought about talking with the owner, David Fierabend to confirm if he has implemented and enforces this policy. I may yet. But for now I will stop going to this place. They do have a lot of other rules which I quite honestly ignore - 30 min parking, limited to 1 hour visit, no moving chairs if group is larger that their seating configuration & others. Perhaps they should make it a members only club.
