Another solid coffee shop in downtown Providence. Ordered a toasted bagel w almond butter and a large hot latte. Food and drink both were ready quickly. The almond butter was excellent. Loved the latte as well, espresso had great flavor.
Went in to pickup my larger order about an hour after I sent it in, in order to give them some extra time because it was earlier in the morning. I ordered 2 wraps and 2 Acai Bowls. I went in and asked the man at the counter for an update and he immediately rolled his eyes and asked if it was on the shelf, which I informed that no it wasn’t and that why I was checking. He said he was making it and proceeded to go back to my order, which I didn’t mind waiting for. Upon closer observation however, I noticed he was handling multiple non food items and touching door surfaces while wearing the same pair of gloves for the next 20 minutes while I waited for my food. He practically tossed the bag to me when putting it on the counter, I am severely disappointed because I used to love coming here on occasion because the girls were always so nice and upfront about the wait. Just sad to see this place go down hill
My first time at this coffee shop. The ambiance was nice, a little cramped, but cute. I didn’t have breakfast, I only ordered an Americano. I didn’t love the taste of it, it’s a pretty easy drink to make but I found it to be weak. I did add oat milk to it, but have done this before at other places and not an issue. My other observation is that prices are not displayed. It’s a pretty extensive menu and for there not to be prices is pretty inconvenient. The reason we were given was that the prices change and the manager doesn’t want to climb up there to change the prices. Do they change that often? Even if that is the reason, not the most professional thing to say to a customer. In the end, I think that effort could be made to make it easier for the customers, not necessarily the manager. I probably wouldn’t go back for that reason. I would give the coffee a try again, but I think it’s kind of a lame excuse for not displaying prices.
bad attitudes
Inconsistent hours. For context lol we've come a few times hours before closing and it's either locked or has a sign up. Feel like more of a regular at the north providence location even though it's 12 minutes further from my house
The açaí and pitaya bows are not it. Super sweet and fake tasting.
Inconsistent hours and offering
This is the coffee shop I frequent the most because the staff is extremely friendly and the coffee is good. Salads are a little steep but that’s okay since I only have them in a pinch. I love Maddie and the rest of the crew! Friendly, great service and tasty food.
Amazing coffee and great customer service , 10/10 highly recommend , cozy vibes for studying as well.
So insanely great atmospherically. Maria the cashier is so on top of everything all the time and is a genius at recommending energizing drinks
This is the best coffee connection location in the world 🌎, MY favorite is Funky Monkey .
My favorite coffee connection downtown Providence
I’ve never ordered from here and probably never will, I’ve been doing Doordash and Ubereats for over a year now, and every single order comes with an excessive wait time. Today, the employees were very busy per usual, but they were taking care of all of the walk-in customers and none of the rideshare deliveries as they were a corner of us waiting for orders. I spoke up and asked about my order, however there were others, specifically a woman who was there long before me and when she finally asked about one of the orders, she was rudely spoken to and given attitude as if she were me asking. We understand they are busy, but there needs to be a balance. We weren’t rushing them we were just asking where the orders were because we see the walk ins coming in and out and the corner was getting more packed with delivery drivers, potentially causing a safety hazard. Always be nice to customers. Our deliveries are your customers too.
This place is really cute and cozy. The coffee is good and they have so many options for food. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is due to the lack of accessibility when it comes to parking.
Great ambience and location it is right by the Providence River. Their coffee never disappoints!
Very good lattes from a shop built onto the side of an old bank (vault and elevator part of the venue)
Really good coffee, the bagels and pastries were yummy. The workers were friendly. We will definitely stop by again!
I love the pastries and the bagels 🤤 but some of the attendant are kind of rude.
Good coffee and the young lady who served me was quite helpful. It was her third day and - being new to the US - I realized afterwards I did not tip… sorry about that, it was a mistake on my part: keep up the good work!
Really bad service and badly run place. I was charged extra for the items and when I asked about it, first the receipt wasn’t printed and then when I saw the charges on their screen, it was higher than the listed prices. I asked why and they told me they don’t know why. They refused to adjust prices and eventually I asked for refund. It took them over 20 minutes to issue me a refund.
