Previously one of our favorites and was always recommended to others. Today will be the last time I went there. It’s Mother’s Day @ 8am. I walk in & I am immediately greeted. There is a couple in front of us. They take 5 minutes before they are invited to give their order. They order two drinks. Another 5 minutes pass and then we are invited to order. I ordered 1 donut and was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for a donut. They are short staff and have a long list of donut orders. There are 8 people behind me. The line reaches the door. From my observations, where did the donut orders come from? Online? Where is the staff or even the owners on a holiday? If the staff can’t cover the walk in traffic, why are they taking online orders? Very disappointed that it took 10 minutes to tell me I needed to wait another 20 minutes for 1 donut because of the backup of online orders! Either service online or in person if staff can’t accommodate and be well equipped on a holiday to experience the influx of business.
Not sure what happened today at this place I got my order around 10:40 am on 04/26/2023 and it’s the worst I’ve gotten Worst customer service, worst tasting coffee, the whole atmosphere was not good today I ordered a hot espresso and two iced white mochas with whole milk These coffees were the most bitter and the espresso tasted burnt Oh and they forgot one of the iced coffees but my husband didn’t go back for it due to so much frustration So they overcharge and don’t give you your whole order now ? I haven’t even tried the two donuts yet I’m not having the best experience not sure if I even want to attempt the food I got There were two men working today I was there two days ago the girls made my drink order and a long haired gentlemen made my food It was fantastic and now today the place got me Not sure If I’m sold on it anymore I wanted to contact the store but couldn’t find any contact on the website either
Great ambiance and view of West Reading. It definitely has the love West Reading vibe going on here as well. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. 👍 I also liked the design of the place and the Italian expresso machine!
If you like filled donuts it’s not your place, but everything is made fresh. Unique flavors. Great hot chocolate too!
Fresh coffee roasted on site and made to order oversized donuts with a variety of toppings and other fun treats. Nitro Cold Brew is delicious.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. It was my husbands first time and I hadn’t been here in forever. They gave some recommendations and we were very pleased with our choice, ‘The Haka’. It was huge, so tasty and reasonably priced. Next time we’ll get some coffee and try a sandwich. Thanks for creating such a neat space!
Never liked donuts till I had one here!
This place was recommended to me for coffee when I moved to the area so I went with some friends and we were impressed! The doughnuts are gigantic, honestly I can’t finish them in one sitting so I will split mine but I love all the specials and the options! My fiancé will get the breakfast sandwich- you can get on a hot dog bun or doughnut- and when I brought one of each for him and a friend for the first time, they were blown away. The staff is always so nice and pleasant when I walk in and you see them prepare the food while you’re there so it tastes so fresh. The coffee is good too, I always make sure to grab a cup!

The breakfast donut sandwiches were some of the best we've ever had. Good coffee and a nice little cafe. Not a very big place for winter time eating.

This is a small corner store with no seadidn't. The donuts were good and the coffee was even better. The donuts were a little pricey but they are very large. If you're willing to pay extra and wait for it you can get a french press cup of coffee made right in front of you. I had a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and it was pretty good but I was very hungry!
Most delicious masala chai tea with vanilla I've ever had and my fiancee had their dark roast, but the donuts classic vanilla and cookies and cream were to die for!!! They weren't a simple snack they were a completely filling dessert. I give it a 20 out of 10 and will be returning!!!
Benchwarmers is our favorite spot! Not only are the staff friendly and helpful, but everything we’ve ever ordered has been exceptional quality. Recently, we placed a large order of donuts for a birthday party and the staff at Benchwarmers were able to accommodate our request with only a few days notice. Everything was perfect and it was a huge hit with our guests! Our donuts were ready on time to pickup on a Saturday morning with absolutely no waiting or issues in any way. Ordering was easy and staff was very helpful and answered all our questions. We love that the donuts are now plant based. So nice to see a local business have options for everyone and they also carry gluten free pre-packaged items from another local bakery. Benchwarmers also makes the BEST lattes! They never skimp out on giving you the best quality at all times. All coffee and espresso drinks we’ve had are made nice and strong to perfection (no sad watery drinks like those big chains).
Excellent decaf Pumpkin Latte Better than Starbucks and cheaper. The coffee was hot and delicious 😋 Seating with tables outside
Expensive and disappointing. $24 for 6 large, yet average donnuts is ridiculous. Won't be going back.
Amazing donut but utensils break
This place was recommended to me by a friend, but Benchwarmer's seems to have changed their operations. The fried chicken is actually plant based and they no longer use eggs or butter in their batter. I felt disappointed and misled as this wasn't clearly indicated on their website.
Nice environment and staff but there were eggshells in my egg and cheese doughnut sandwich. Suddenly feeling my soft food crunch wasn’t a great feeling…
