We have been going to this place for years. Each time although the last visit has been better than the previous one. Service was great, food was excellent. Two reasons why we return time and time again.

Amazing Mother's Day ❤️ dinner with family at a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. There was a special menu for Mother's Day with a wide variety of choices. As we were seven people, we had one of each of the entrée choices. Our choices were: Rack of Lamb, Filet Migion, Seared Sea Bass, or Roast Duck, Each entrée was more amazing than the others. It is the perfect place to enjoy a family dining experience.

Menu has had many changes since pictures were put on website. Nothing really srikes me. Last menu looks very appetizing this one may be ok. After we've had dinner , bread very good!! Chicken very tasty but tough. Sea food very good. All portions well sized. Lovely presentations. Salad missing goat cheese and apple, still tasty.

This was our 3rd visit and our last. Such a cute place and a great outdoor area. BYO is a plus for sure. Food was always decent, not great, but decent. Was very cold inside as it was last time we visited but chalked it up to the huge vaulted ceiling which prob cost a ton to heat properly. We were the only ones in the place which is not a good sign (another couple did show up later, but that was it). The server let us know there were a lot of items on the menu that were not available, another red flag. Bread was actually very good & fresh & mushroom cap app was nice & hot which warmed us up lol. We ordered the house salad which was supposed to have olives, sunflower seeds & pine nuts. It had none of that, just a few yellow tomatoes & 1 strawberry sliced & a raspberry dressing which was way too sweet. Salad was awful & not anything of what was described. So we decided to split the entrée which was a seafood dish in marinara sauce over pasta. Was supposed to be clams, shrimp & crabmeat. Server said they had no clams so they would add extra shrimp & crabmeat. We got the dish and there was crabmeat & old shrimp & what appeared to be the end piece of a larger fish with the black skin still on it. I asked what fish that was and server said it was salmon. It was mostly that black slimy skin and was old. Were they trying to do us a favor by adding that piece of salmon? No idea but this made the dish awful. Did the cook think we were blind and not see this chunk of old fish that was not even supposed to be in the dish? At least we didn't get sick from it but will never return to this place. Maybe they are going out of business and that's why half the menu was unavailable and they were throwing stuff in just to get rid of it? Gee thanks Fairview Cafe for serving us one of the worst meals we have had in a restaurant ever. And we go out all the time to eat.

This was a bridal rehearsal dinner so I don’t know how much was paid but the food was actually inedible. The chicken was so tough you had to saw it . The sweet potatoes & brussel sprouts were RAW . IT WAS IF THEY PICKED THEM FROM A GARDEN & threw them on the plates. There were 2 other entrees & all were awful, totally inedible. I felt bad for the groom who was paying for this. Also the service was very poor , we had to wait an eternity for each course. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. We left & went to Mc Donald’s. I actually would give it a ZERO!

Just celebrated birthday with a group of 12. Ambiance was awesome. Setting soooo easy on the eye. Menu is a bit pricey. But well worth it. French Onion soup is excellent and the wild caught salmon with jasmine rise was delicious. Fellow diners had pork loin, rack of lamb, spinach ravioli, and all loved their meals. Beautifully decorated for the fall with a nice fireplace. Bet Christmas is great there. Check it out. You won't be disappointed...

Just had my grandmother's 90th birthday luncheon here and it was FANTASTIC!! All of the employees were lovely and courteous. The food was very very good. My husband's filet mignon was cooked perfectly! Hoping to come back for a regular dinner soon.

What a great gem we found. Dog friendly on the patio, live music, great service, great food. They do not have a liquor license but let you byob. We forgot our small cooler and they contacted us and shipped it back to us. Talk about going the extra mile!

Cute little diner in the middle of a tourist town. Certainly had the vibe of "where the locals eat". Friendly people, good food, typical small town diner done right.

The atmosphere is great and service is very attentive but the menu fools you. Reads as a gourmet meal but falls incredibly short. Very surprised and might give it one more try because I want to like it!

Absolutely wonderful place. Had the most delicious peppercorn encrusted steak. Definitely the go-to place for great food in a beautiful setting.

Food was very good, but the service was terribly slow and there was hardly any customers in there - the waitress said it was because they had a 'trainee' chef
