If you are gluten free and LOVE a good bagel, this is the place to go! There gluten free bagels are amazing (a touch dry) but the best i’ve had yet!!!
Very surprised at the quality - I had a tomato basil bagel with herb cream cheese and it was so flavorful!
Chai latte is the best and also had papaya tropical smoothie which was awesome wish they had one near me
Incredible breakfast bagel sandwich.
Disorganized and average at best bagels. Ordered an Asiago with cream cheese and an Asiago breakfast bagel, got to work and was unpleasantly surprised to find plain bagels for both that seemed to be day olds. Would not recommend, def not worth what they’re charging.
A great college town spot to grab a very good breakfast or lunch. All items are made fresh. The baked goods are a very good treat. If you are a student or a visitor to Penn State you must go here for a fresh made item. All are very good.
Got the bagel special and it was delicious! Quality was there; there was a long wait time/line but is expected on a weekend, other than that I recommend!
I’ve been to Irving’s twice now and they are some of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had! Crispy and chewy and everyone working there is always working so hard to keep the busy lines moving!
High quality food. Everything is clearly fresh. Not as good as every penn state alumni makes it out to be lol.
I’ve heard great reviews about this breakfast place so I was super excited to go try it. After placing my order, I waited 30 minutes for my food. After all my friends got their food and also many numbers that ordered after me, I asked about what was happening. After this, I learned they didn’t make the simple bacon, egg and cheese yet. I waited 10 more minutes and heard 15 more numbers called, then finally got my food. The sandwich was pretty good but the service is horrendous.
Long time local bagel cafe offering fresh bagels, bagel sandwiches, wraps, and smoothies. Bagels are fresh and tasty, the breakfast sandwiches nicely done. Wraps and smoothies are spot on too. There’s a rivalry with the bagel joint over on Calder. But locals seem to prefer Irving’s and it’s not just nostalgia.
Best bagels. Love their breakfast sandwiches. Coffee is pretty good too.
Had a GF bagel sandwich. bagel was barely toasted they literally used one egg avocado was clearly going bad they gave me raw onions and spinach… when it should be sautéed.
The food and atmosphere are equally delightful, plus the service is friendly and prompt.
Best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bagels are amazing. A must stop anytime you’re in state college. And the staff is friendly and hard working. We were there Sunday after a home game and they were nonstop hustling.
I want to give the employee VILLY KOLOSOV. A shoutout, he’s very good
Breakfast wrap: reasonable price, and good quality! Chicken cesar Salad: pretty much of chicken! Cons: there is a long wait. It's very popular
Got a sausage egg and cheese to go. Opened it and there was no egg. No egg in a sausage egg and cheese sandwich.. Coffee was good tho.
I walk here every morning when I stay in the area. Opens at 7:00. Good food, nice people.
The place is fine, but not worth waiting an hour with a hundred people in the building to get a bagel.
