Came for a concert. But it seems like a great hangout spot. Very busy

Poor service - food was awful. Much better places in State College. Waited 20 minutes before a waitress came to our table.

My fav college bar. Can get super busy like all of them but cafe has the best outdoor seating imo. It's always the vibe no matter what you're trying to go for. The food is great too

Just a great place for food and drink on College Avenue. If the weather is decent, be prepared to wait a while to get in, though it's usually worth the wait. We sat on the back deck during a recently crowded Saturday afternoon and couldn't get served any food back there, but service is pretty awful everywhere anymore, so par for the course, I suppose.

The food isn't bad, just very inconsistent. It could be great one day, then less proportions and lower quality another day. The staff is always friendly.

Flavored long island pitchers are way to go.

Kicked us out because they needed the table space and instead of telling us that they told the group that we were “too drunk” even though we only had two drinks each. Mid food and midder service.

The bartender with glasses and balding hair runs the bar like his own personal domain. This bar is apparently his little kingdom.

incredible place. cannot stress enough (1) how good the drinks are, they’re incredible (2) how great the owners are (they too, are incredible) if you are visiting state college or are moving here for grad school, check this place out, it has fairly priced, quality-made pitchers, and the vibes here are impeccable.

College bar, food is bar food. They have local beer on tap like New Trail and Axeman. Worth a trip

Great service, great music, but five quarter pickle spears for $9.95. That’s $8.00 per pickle. I generally don’t write reviews, but this is egregious.

We sat 5 min as waiters & waitress walked by . Finally someone asked if we were waited on. Hello they sat us there 🙄 . Now they made me prove I was minimal 21. I can assure you my wife & I don't resemble any college age. Food was average along with prices.

College bar with good drink specials and nice dive bar feel. Beer was ice cold and they specialize in ice tea pitchers. Love this place since the 90s, but the food has gone way down hill. Nachos which were the state college go to were very stale. Most of the chips were crushed up bits of chips. The burgers are absolutely a joke. Would have preferred a McDonald’s cheeseburger. Over cooked thin Patties with stale bread. So long story short, good place for a cold drink but eat somewhere before…..

Never been and never will. $3 cash cover during happy hour, no live music and simply trying to have dinner on the patio. Ridiculous.

Teas are great, staff acted like they were closed over an hour before closing. The bartender asked if we wanted to keep our tab open. Very confusing...

Food was average but the insistence on seeing everyone’s ID before entering the restaurant for lunch was beyond annoying. They refused entry to a 65+ patron because her drivers license had expired. Bizarre!
