Not fresh bagels by a long shot, definitely store bought. Went there to try a new bagel shop. I'll stick to the local, freshly made bagel shop.

Absolutely love the hot chocolate, cookies, bagels, and pizza bagels here! So good and reasonably priced!

I don't know how long this has been hiding out in Scranton,. but I LOVED Einstein Bros. when I lived in Florida. It is tucked away in the first floor of a University of Scranton Building and no signage outside. Real LOX, Real good! So glad to be able to have it again! Only bad point. is it not being open on the weekends For those looking for it: It's on the corner of Linden and Jefferson. The entrance faces the church on the other side-of-the-street if standing on Jefferson Ave. Park on Linden Street!

Just ok. They're like the McDonald's of bagels. Don't go here expecting a REAL DEAL bagel. Also, for the people like me who had difficulty finding out how to get the restaurant, it's IN Scranton University. Go in from the entrance directly across the street from the big ole church. Orrr just go somewhere else. You'll be much less disappointed.

Bagels are soft and chewy when toasted - my ideal combo. They have Caribou coffee, Coke soft drinks, and a small prepared sandwich/juice/bottled drink fridge case. Please note that this is inside a University building and it follows the schedule of the school (i.e. they are closed on breaks, holidays, etc). You must walk into the University building to access the shop and there is no parking directly in front - park on Linden. Staff is super sweet!

I love this franchise in general. I was surprised and glad to see one in Scranton but the Google maps directions to get there and inability to speak to someone there caused me to not get to go there today. Maps doesn't have the streetview correct because of new changes, and it had me circle the opposing blocks multiple times and encouraged me to drive down one-way streets to get there. I'm not even sure of the hours of operation since so many Scranton businesses seem to disregard their Google maps presence.

Love the service and people working there, and respect them even more because it seems to be a pretty high pressure job with the crowds they have to deal with. Consistently good preparation, and usually quick to serve. Don't go during a popular lunch hour because you'll wait in line for 45 minutes.
