Small menu, burger was a preformed frozen patty. Toppings were good. Pay attention because I was overcharged by $25 which I questioned. I do believe it was an honest mistake and it was fixed. It was good for a quick lunch, but we probably won't go back.

The number of reviews does not match the amount of people that come into this place. The food is awesome, the atmosphere is relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place for everyone to visit (Breakfast).

Their breakfast food is delicious!! (That’s usually what I have when I go there.) The bread they serve must be homemade because it’s amazing!

Brickhouse is a breakfast and lunch Cafe with great coffee, friendly staff and clean facilities. I like the Brickhouse burger and have gotten the burger "to go" a number of times. (Call ahead these Amish have biz phones.) Since I like the Brickhouse Burger I thought I would try the Brickhouse Omelette for breakfast. [See photo] If you like the tangy Brickhouse Burger, the Brickhouse Omelette is similar. It has a savery spiced (not spicy hot) sausage which I like, bacon (flavorful) and that tangy almost BBQ flavored sauce inside the egg & cheese Omelette which gives it that Amish flavor profile. What surprised me, was the arrival of the toast. It was Amish baked farmhouse bread! Yummy. [See photo of wheat bread toast w/ a white bread option.] [I ordered pancakes to go for someone at home and they said they were a bit dry and they are not a fan of margarine.] Some logistics of which to be aware: 1.) There is additional parking on the side of the Brickhouse while the front has a disability parking space near the front door. 2.) Make sure you pick up your own silver wear [not to keep - 🙂] in a basket on the counter so you have utensils for eating. 3.) Get off your "English" butt [😁] and serve yourself your own coffee with lots of options at the self serve coffee bar. 4.) There is an extra fee added to your bill if you use a credit card to pay. 5.) Police officers were eating there when I arrived so that may be a good indicator that our People in Blue like the Brickhouse coffee options. [ Sorry couldn't resist. I do honor your service. ] 6.) Real Amish with big SMILES cook your food which makes it a great place for those visiting Lancaster County. Just turn off Rt. 222 by the Refton Fire Co. sign.

My partner and I arrived early on a Friday morning for breakfast. This time worked well as the restaurant was not busy. She had been at the previous Friday a bit later and the restaurant was packed. She had oatmeal when she really enjoyed and I had fried eggs bacon home fries and toast. It was a very filling delicious meal. The bread in particular appear to be homemade and was fantastic.

Wonderful gem for delicious coffee and breakfast. We drove 30 minutes out of our way to visit, and so grateful we did! Extensive coffee offerings with tea, frappes, milkshakes, and smoothie in addition! Variety of breakfast options- home fries were so flavorful, homemade sausage gravy. Homemade bakery items- blueberry donut holes were just the right size Wished we lived closer!

Came in here for a quick brunch for a party of 2 and it was the most amazing meal i’ve had in weeks. We got the grilled turkey sandwich, brisket burger(?), stuffed french toast, and iced pumpkin spice latte. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and stuffed full with ingredients, the burger had amazing flavor and was cooked perfectly, the french toast was also a 10/10 and the PSL I got was the best PSL i’ve had in my entire life - not too sweet, perfect amount of spice. The service was fast and friendly :) I will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in the area. I can’t stress how wonderful this place is!

This is the kind of place you want to give a bad review to keep people away and keep it to yourself, lol! Seriously though, what a fantastic place to get breakfast. I got the eggs, home fries and sausage gravy. My wife got the pancake home fries and bacon. She also got a frappe. Everything was fresh, made and delicious. Service was fantastic and we bought some baked goods for tomorrow. This will definitely be a regular stop for us.

It was good, I didn't realize how small the place was. Everything looked freshen baked in the case. My wife had an oatmeal bowl and I ordered a turkey sandwich. Mine was very good, would've been better with better bread. I had a blueberry donut hole and my wife had a piece of pumpkin cake, both were very good. Would recommend, definitely will go again for breakfast.

A nice little place to go and get a cup of coffee, tucked back in off the main road. The have a selection of home made baked goods and drinks to choose from. Coffee shops can be few and faw between in this area, so it is exciting to have a new place to stop in. Aesthetics are nice on the inside and very clean. I had a blueberry donut which was pretty good. There prices are on the lower end also which is nice.
