You have to check out this Eurasian Bistro - No one in State College is making food like Maria - Great ingredients, made fresh, and oh so tasty. International flavors with Georgian khachapuri, Russian soups, and fresh pastries. Everything I have had has been delicious!
Impeccable atmosphere and incredibly friendly people. A vast selection of delicious homemade savory foods and pastries, as well as delectable Rothrock-roasted coffee. You can really tell everything is handmade with love following family recipes. Can't recommend enough!
I got the cheeseboat and the raspberry cake and both were so good. Highly recommend this place! The staff is really nice as well and gave really good service too.
Worth the drive! My wife and I came here to eat lunch and had a delicious meal. I definitely recommend the cheeseboat/khachapuri and the Georgian cheesesteak. The bread was freshly baked and perfectly cooked. Everything was so delicious we barely spoke while eating. I can't wait to come back here again!

Hidden gem! If you are in the State College area, definitely visit this cafe. The food and beverages are incredible. The owner is kind and patiently explained the menu to us. There are many vegetarian options and the owner was open to substitute meat with veggies to make the menu more vegetarian friendly!

I recently visited Cafe Luna and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in the door, the owner(Marina/Marika) made me feel welcome and at home. Her hospitality was truly remarkable and added an extra special touch to the dining experience. And the food! Oh, the foods were absolutely delicious. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. I especially enjoyed the Pelmeni soup and Borscht soup which were cooked to perfection and had a unique blend of spices that made my taste buds dance with joy. In addition to the outstanding food and hospitality, the atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and super clean. Overall, I highly recommend Cafe Luna to anyone looking for a fantastic dining/breakfast experience.

Had the cheese boat and Solyanka soup, delicious! Will definitely be back to try the other soups and the cakes, which look very good.
Clean, but a bit spare. The cheese boat/khachapuri is made to order, and absolutely worth the wait. I go out of my way to get these wonderful items. Hot roll, melty cheese, dippy egg yolk on top. So good!
the penovani khachapuri cheese puff pastry and the pistachio cake are AMAZING! service is fantastic and everyone is so sweet. such a unique & cozy cafe in pleasant gap, i can't wait to try more from here!
