This place is great to stop at before traveling on the T or to get a good cup of coffee/tea or breakfast.

I decided to give this place a second chance and yet again the barista working was incredibly rude and acted like I didn’t need to be in there. I was there at 11 am… it’s not like I walked in at closing. I did my best to be kind and tip but now I regret tipping at all as my latte shots sat too long and the barista couldn’t even bother to speak to me.

Kinda bummed. I went online to check if they where open says they where till 3pm. Walked in and was greeted with a " we're closed as the sign states in the door". I didn't see the sign as I was in much need of coffee. I felt very unwelcome. Being a barista myself I was kind of taken a back by the how rudely I was treated. I ended up going to my work to get coffee instead. Its further away from my house but I'm glad I did as I was greeted kindly there. Won't be back. If you have a private event I suggest editing your Google account to state that. I just wanted a bag of beans but since I was so rudely greeted I didn't emphasize the simplicity of my order. You could have had a sale but you decided to just act like I was inconveniencing you by you having to tell me that you're closed.

Best of the Burgh bagel sandwich is 10/10. All of their specialty coffee is delicious, and well made. Great spot to grab food before taking the T or waiting on the next. Clean, interesting chairs, cute lil cafe vibe and the staff is nice. Definitely coming by anytime I’m on foot in this area. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Delicious breakfast sandwiches. More seating available than at most coffee shops in the area. Nice place to bring a book and just chill.

My drink was good but the barista was unbearably rude and didn’t fill my drink to the top. I’m a barista myself and I would never just not fill someone’s large drink. Lattes aren’t exactly cheap /: I can see why you guys are currently looking for a manager as there is no training on good customer service, to be honest most people want to feel comfortable and welcomed in a coffee shop not feeling like a nuisance. I won’t be back and don’t recommend this place. If you don’t like working in the service industry work somewhere else so you don’t burden everyone with your mean attitude.

Update: 5 starts to 3 starts and now 2. Its dead in there and no one pickes up the phone or doesn't get my order done in time. They need to start getting better with their service and management because it's horrible.

Microwaved pre cooked egg on bagel. Nothing to write home about. Asked for scrambled egg and got fried.

My favorite coffee shop! Best breakfast sandwich in Pittsburgh. Very calm atmosphere; a great place to bring a friend or enjoy some time alone. Friendly staff, good music, great coffee. A true gem!

Great place, except for upstairs neighbor drumming which came through like hammering.

Potomac Station Coffeehouse is a terrific, independent coffee shop on the corner of Potomac and Broadway. They are knowledgeable and will accommodate with any drink request, regardless of it being on the menu as long as you know the build. I asked for a mazagran and was able to talk the barista through the build with no problem. It was perfect. Their coffee is excellent and service is usually quick, even with large orders. The beverages are made with precision and the menu is innovative. Try something new like their cold brew lemonade. It's great for a hot summer day.

Great coffee shop, I'm so glad it survived the pandemic economy! I go in once or twice a week. The baristas are friendly, the drinks are consistently well-made, the music is exceptionally good, the breakfast sandwiches are tasty, and the prices are reasonable. The owner even put up gender-neutral bathroom signs at my friend's suggestion! Lots of space (an underrated event venue, in my opinion), brightly-lit, always clean. I'll be moving across town soon and will miss this spot, but I'll definitely stop in any time I'm in Dormont!
