This is a nice coffee spot. I think what sets them apart from other cafes is their spacious loft. You can take your laptop up there and plug into one of the extension cords. I purchased a latte and the warm oatmeal bowl. They both were good, but nothing outside of what I’ve had better. It can get a bit loud, depending what’s going on and due to the open space nature of the space. So maybe bring some headphones, just in case. And be sure to stress if you want your order to go or stay. I had a hiccup with my order that was alleviated by the man that took my order, who I appreciated. I recommend you stop by, grab a cup of coffee, get a seat upstairs and experience for yourself.
Gorgeous coffee shop with excellent breakfast options beyond what you would normally expect. My warm oatmeal with peanut butter and fruit was outstanding. Upstairs seating with a bookstore meets jazz cafe vibe is a bonus! Somewhat pricey but worth a splurge.

Locally owned, locally staffed coffee spot. Great vibes, great drinks and a variety of options. They always have great snacks to offer and in the afternoons you can stop in for a spiked coffee to get you thru the rest of the day.

Charming coffee shop in one of the most beautiful buildings on East Carson. They seem to focus on oat milk drinks and typically have a list of delicious rotating house specials.

This was my preferred study place for the last years and I have fond memories of this store. The coffee was spectacular. And the space is also one of the prettiest in Pittsburgh! However, I recently ordered one of my regular orders I’ve had numerous times, just for it to not taste the same at all. The barista said it was because of a seasonal change, but that didn’t make sense to me why they wouldn’t specify this on the menu. I ordered the same thing for more than a year now, having it in the warmer season as well. She came off a little rude, and I wished she could have explained more politely that perhaps they changed the formula. I even got another one with ice simply to confirm it was definitely not the right coffee. Such a bummer because it was really my favorite study treat. I really hope that flavor comes back, and maybe a better detailed menu board explaining the flavors displayed if they were to be changed from season to season!

One of the baristas was really rude to my friend who was visiting, who is still learning English. She was reading straight from the menu and he was acting like he couldn’t understand her at all. I feel that the espresso was poorly calibrated (maybe it was just that day) and my cortado was bitter. The matcha latte special was good. The veggie quiche was delicious. I would come back because I know they use good coffee and it was probably just that guy; the atmosphere is nice.

AMAZING CHAI !!! i love this place and i PERSONALLY believe this is one of the best chais in the world.
Went there four times and the coffee always tasted a bit sour. I personally didn't like it. So sad cause the Café itself is really cute
Coffee is pretty average but good if you're looking for something a little cheaper. Staff is nice and accommodating. Atmosphere is absolutely wonderful if you're looking for something a little more up-beat and a younger crowd (mostly college students).
I've always loved this spot, and even more so since they broke free of the AMP'd umbrella awhile back. Great variety, friendly and efficient staff, and a cozy atmosphere.
