Let’s get real. This place has essentially zero ambience and they don’t even have any pastries or legitimate food to accompany of the drinks. Good luck finding it. They have views of nothing other than cement/brick walls

Good coffee..really rough getting here if you aren’t walking or haven’t been here before. Took me like 20 minutes to get in. Worth it for the coffee though

By far the best coffee shop in South Side. Their coffee is fantastic and their breakfast sandwiches and pastries are so delicious. The staff are always smiling and very informative. The atmosphere is refreshing and modern. I recommend trying one of their sandwiches. I'd be surprised if anyone found them less than great. I would come here every morning for breakfast and coffee if I could.

Nice little shop with friendly service. Came in and got a latte and black coffee right away. Both turned out good. Would return.

I'm a big fan fan of this place! Great drinks and atmosphere. Like that they've got a partnership with OM yoga. Good stuff.

Lovely!! First time at this location (I’m a regular at the one on the Strip) and everyone was delightful. Shout out to Austin in particular!

Serious quality coffee! Take your order out and enjoy it in the parklet overlooking the river.

I love it here. I go to the strip location a lot. Great coffee. But my chai was super watery and tasteless which makes me so sad because I love de fer and I am a very frequent customer.

Definitely try the pastries with your coffee. I had the blackberry basil scone and a honey cinnamon latte. Both were balanced and just slightly sweet, the way I like it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I got the scone right out of the oven around 815 am.

A good coffee, but their offered products (coffee beans, teas, etc) are a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity provided.

Coffee and breakfast sandwiches are always delicious here! Definitely one of my favorite places to get a breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately my taste still hasn't returned after having Covid, so couldn't enjoy it as much as in the past.

Unusually head over to this place when walking my dog through the heritage trail. I get matcha from here mostly. The space is welcoming, has plenty of seating both inside the coffee shop, inside the building it's connected to, and outdoors. The whole area is dog friendly and they usually have a water bowl for your fur baby to drink from. They even gave me a biscuit to give to my pups. I chatted up the baristas (I got the sense maybe one of them was the manager/owner? not sure) and they were very helpful in answering my questions about the building and its history.

Amazing coffee. Amazing food. Not a huge selection, but it's a small coffee shop.

We visited De Fer Coffee while in town & we’re very impressed with hospitality from their staff. Samuel was extremely patient with my indecisiveness & even offered to make me another latte if the first one I ordered wasn’t to my liking. I did enjoy the latte I ordered, haha. Samuel’s ability to ensure that my husband and I would have a good experience was incredible. I definitely recommend De Fer. Great coffee, food, & service!
